Abstract
BİR RIZA ÜRETİM ARACI OLARAK 1990 SONRASI TÜRK POPÜLER MÜZİĞİ Bu çalışmanın çıkış noktası, müziğin toplumsal işlevini ve anlamını çözümlemektir. Çalışmada, müziğin tarihsel gelişim süreci özetlenmiş, insanlık tarihi içinde müziğin gelişimine yönelik önemli kırılma noktaları dikkate alınmıştır. Bu yaklaşımdaki amaç, değişen tarihsel/ toplumsal koşullara paralel olarak müzikte de değişimlerin yaşandığının anlaşılmasıdır. İlkel toplumdan kapitalizm sonrası döneme kadar müzikte yaşanan gelişmeler özetlenmiş, bu gelişmelerin hazırlayıcı koşulları ve sonuçları incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, çalışmanın şekillendiği ana eksen kapitalizm sonrasında ortaya çıkan popüler müzik ve bu müziğin 1990 sonrasında Türkiye'deki görünümü olmuştur. 1990 sonrası dönem ele alınmadan önce, Türkiye'de yaşanan 200 yıllık Batılılaşma hareketi ve bunun müzikteki yansımalarına göz atılmıştır. 1830'lu yıllarda ortaya çıkan Batılılaşma olgusunun müziğe yansıma biçimi, bu yansımanın Cumhuriyet Dönemi'nden itibaren yeniden şekillenişi ve günümüzün müziğinin tarihsel ve kültürel temelleri değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu değerlendirme sırasında, egemen ideolojinin kültürel üretimi şekillendirme çabasının müzikteki etkileri göz önünde tutulmuştur. 1990 sonrası dönem bu perspektiften ele alınırken, Türkiye'de ortaya çıkan yeni siyasal, toplumsal ve kültürel yapının toplum tarafından onanması noktasında müziğin üstlendiği rol araştırılmaya çalışılmıştır.
TURKISH POPULAR MUSIC AFTER 1990 AS A WAY OF MANUFACTURING CONSENT Starting point of this study is to analyse the social functions and meanings of music. In the study, historical development process of music is summarised, and also took note of important turning points of development of music. The reason of that approach is to understand that music tranforms parallel to changes of historical and social conditions. Development of music from the primitive community to post-capitalist era is summarised. Bases of development and results of development is tried to understood. In this context, this study focused mainly on popular music which is exposed after capitalism, and its view in Turkey after 1990. Before the period after 1990 is researched, Westernisation process in Turkey for 200 years and its reflection on music is examined. Westenisation fact that occured in the years of 1830's, affected the music. It is reformed after the period of Turkish Rebuplic. In this context, it is tried to eveluate the historical and cultural bases of music of today. During this eveluation, dominant ideology's effort of shaping cultural prodution kept in mind. The period after 1990 considered from this perpspective. Meanwhile, the role of music, in approving the new political, social and cultural structure, is tried to research.
