FÂRÂBÎ’NİN KAYIP NİKOMAKHOS AHLÂKI ŞERHİ’NDEN KALAN PARÇALAR: TERCÜME VE TAHLİL

Abstract

Fârâbî; Aristoteles'in meşhur ahlâk eseri Nikomakhos Ahlâkı'nı okumakla kalmamış, tabakât eserlerinin ve diğer bazı filozofların bildirdiğine göre bu esere bir de şerh kaleme almıştır. Bu şerhin tamamı günümüze ulaşmamış olsa da şerhin giriş kısmı olduğu düşünülen birkaç sayfalık metin elimizdedir. Söz konusu metin, felsefe tarihinde yeri olan bazı tartışmalara ilişkin mühim bilgiler içermesi bakımından son derece dikkate değerdir. Bu makalede, Fârâbî'nin kayıp şerhinden günümüze ulaşmış bu giriş metninin keşfi ve otantikliğine dair tartışmalara değinildikten sonra, metnin katkıda bulunduğu problemlere işaret edilecektir. Son olarak makalede, söz konusu metnin Türkçe tercümesi Türk okuyucularının istifadesine sunulmuştur

Al-Farabi has not only read Aristotle’s well-known book Nicomachean Ethics but also according to the bio-bibliographical (tabaqât) sources and the other philosophers’ statements he has written a commentary on this book. We do not have the whole text today but we have a survived text which seems like an some problems in history of philosophy. In this article, the historical background of the text will be analyzed and the contributions of the text to the some of the problems of philosophy will be pointed at and also Turkish translation of the text will be presented
