Abstract
The study was implemented with a quasi-experimental model with a pre-test post-test control group and was carried out with 24 (13 female, 11 male) volunteer taekwondo athletes. Participants were divided into two: control (n:10) and study group (n:14). While the control group continued their general taekwondo training, the study group performed additional sessions with a specially designed system in addition to taekwondo training 3 times a week for 4 weeks. A computer-based system has been created that will allow the athlete to hit 10 different techniques at different times through visual and auditory stimuli. With this system, which enables movement time detection, it can also be used as a training device and allows later review in terms of the athlete's development by recording the kick times and hit locations in memory. K Independent Test, one of the nonparametric tests, was used for data analysis. When the total movement times of the athletes in 10 different random techniques were analysed, it was determined that there was a statistically significant difference in the study group but not in the control group (p<0.05). It was observed that the study group had a much shorter movement time than the control group. As a result, thanks to the devicede signed for combat sports athletes, improvement was observed regardless of gender, sports year or age.
