Asker hastanelerinde günübirlik genel cerrahi uygulamalarında ameliyat öncesi hasta hazırlık kriterlerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

1. ÖZET Araştırma, asker hastanelerindeki günübirlik genel cerrahi girişimlerinde ameliyat öncesi hasta hazırlık kriterlerini saptamak amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak planlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini; Türkiye genelinde hizmet veren 41 asker hastanesinin genel cerrahi servis ve ameliyathane üniteleri oluşturmuştur. Hastanelerin tümüne ulaşılmasına karşın ameliyathane ünitesi kapalı olması nedeniyle cerrahi girişimlerin yapılmadığı 1 hastane araştırma kapsamından çıkarılmıştır. Buna göre araştırmanın evreni, örneklemi teşkil etmekte olup, 40 asker hastanesinin genel cerrahi servis ve ameliyathane ünitelerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan bilgi formu kullanılarak, hastanelerin genel cerrahi servis sorumlu hemşirelerine hastaneler arası bilgi iletişim ‘internet-outlook’ sistemi ile gönderilip aynı yöntem kullanılarak geri alınmasıyla elde edilmiştir. Veriler, Statistical Package of Social Sciences ile değerlendirilmiş olup, yüzdelik değerler kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; araştırma kapsamına alınan hastanelerin 19 (%47,5)’ unda günübirlik cerrahi girişim öncesi hasta hazırlığı ile ilgili bilginin hem doktor hem hemşire tarafından, 23 (%57,5)’ ünde bu bilginin hasta ve hasta yakınlarının her ikisine birden, 32 (%80)’ sinde ise bilginin yazılı ve sözlü olarak verildiği, 39 (%97,5) hastanede günübirlik cerrahi girişimlere özgü hasta hazırlık formu kullanılmadığı görülmüştür. Examination of Preoperative Patient Care Criteria for Outpatient General Surgery in Military Hospitals The research was planned as descriptive in order to determine preoperative patient preparation criteria in outpatient general surgery attempts in military hospitals. Population of the research included general surgery service and surgery room units of 41 military hospitals serving throughout Türkiye. Although all hospitals were reached, one of them whose operation room unit was closed was excluded from the research scope. According to that, research population formed the sample and it composed of general surgery service and operation room units of 40 military hospitals. Data of the research was obtained after the information form prepared by the researcher were sent to the nurses responsible for general surgery service of the hospitals, via “internet-outlook” system, and were submitted by using the same system. The data was assessed with Statistical Package of Social Sciences and percentage values were used. As a result of the study, it was observed among the hospitals within the scope that in 19 ( 47,5 %) of them, information related to patient preparation before outpatient surgery was given both by doctors and nurses; in 23 (57,5 %) of them, this information was given both to patients and patients’ relatives; in 32 (80 %) of them, this information was given both verbally and in written; and in 39 (97,5 %) of them, patient preparation form special to outpatient surgery attempts was not used.
