Aykırı değerlerin regresyon modellerine etkileri ve sağlam kestiriciler

Abstract

AYKIRI DEĞERLERİN REGRESYON MODELLERİNE ETKİLERİ VE SAĞLAM KESTİRİCİLER Değişkenler arasındaki doğrusal ilişkiyi açıklama istediğimizde parametre tahmini için kullanacağımız en eski tahmin yöntemi olan En Küçük kareler yöntemi verilerde aykırı değer(ler) olması ve hata terimlerinin normal dağılıma uymaması durumunda güvenilir olmayan tahmin sonuçları vermektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; aykırı değer(ler) varlığında daha sağlıklı sonuçlar elde etmek amacıyla kullanılan Sağlam kestiricilerden bahsetmek ve her iki yöntemin ulaştıkları bilgilerin karşılaştırılmasının yapılarak Sağlam yöntemlerin En Küçük Kareler yöntemine üstünlüklerinin gösterilmesidir.

THE EFFECT OF OUTLİERS ON MODELS OF REGRESSİON AND ROBUST ESTİMATORS When we need to explain the direct relation between the variables, the oldest estimation method, the Least Squares method, we use to estimate the parameters, is giving unreliable estimation results due to outlying data and the terms of errors not matching with the normal distribution. The purpose of this study is to mention about the Robust Estimators which are used to get more reliable outcome with the presence of outliers and to show how the information obtained by both methods are compared and their dominance on Least Squares method is shown.
