Bu olanaklar, bir sinema filminin üretimde iki temel teknik unsur olan çekim (hareketli görüntünün elde edilmesi) ve çekim sonrası işlemleri (post prodüksiyon) bağlamında değerlendirilmiştir. DIGITAL VIDEO TECHNOLOGIES AND NEW POSSIBILITIES IN FILM PRODUCTION This thesis examines the new opportunities brought on by the latest developments in digital video technologies to the art of cinema, which is an expensive and hard to reach art form in terms of technical production tools. These new opportunities are examined in terms of two technical phases of cinema, which are producing the moving image and post production processes. This thesis, tries to explain what is new in terms of the technical production of moving images, and its effects on especially low-budget independent filmmakers by comparing digital video technologies with the previous methods of producing moving images, which were celluloid film” and analog video.
