Abstract
ÜVEYS VEFÂ ERZİNCÂNÎ, HAYATI VE MİNHÂCÜ’L-YAKÎN ŞERHÜ EDEBÜ’D-DÜNYA VE’D-DÎN ADLI ESERİ (İNCELEME) Bu tezde Osmanlı Devleti’nin son dönem âlimlerinden Üveys Vefâ Erzincânî’nin (1861-1946) hayatı ve Mâverdî’nin (ö. 450/ 1058) Edebü’d-dünya ve’d-dîn adlı eserine Arapça olarak yazdığı Minhâcü’l-yakîn şerhü edebü’d-dünya ve’d-dîn adlı eseri konu edinildi. İki bölümden oluşan tezin giriş kısmında kısaca Tanzimat’tan sonra Osmanlı Devleti’nde eğitim alanında görülen gelişmeler ve Arapça öğretimi konusunda uygulanan yeni metotlar ele alındı. Birinci bölümde Üveys Vefâ Erzincânî’nin hayatı, bulunduğu vazifeler, eserleri, öğrencileri, vefâtı ve şahsiyeti üzerinde duruldu. İkinci bölümde ise Edebü’d-dünya ve’d-dîn’in yazarı, muhtevası, Üveys Vefâ Erzincânî’nin bu esere yazmış olduğu şerhin genel özellikleri, şerhte kullandığı metot, başvurduğu kaynaklar ve şerhin önemi konularına değinildi. Tezin son kısmında belgeler başlığı altında Üveys Vefâ Erzincânî ile ilgili elde edilen belgeler verildi.
ÜVEYS VEFÂ ERZİNCÂNÎ, HİS LİFE AND HİS WORK NAMED MİNHÂCÜ’L-YAKÎN ŞERHÜ EDEBÜ’D-DÜNYA VE’D-DÎN ( EXAMİNATİON) This thesis is about the life of Üveys Vefâ Erzincânî (1861-1946) who was one of the last wise and scholar people in the last period of Ottoman Empire and about his work Minhâcü’l-yakîn şerhü edebü’d-dünya ve’d-dîn which had been written in Arabic onto Mâverdî’s important work; Edebü’d-dünya ve’d-dîn. This thesis is composed of two parts and in the introduction part, the development in education and the methods that were used in the schooling of Arabic in the Ottoman Empire after the Tanzimat Period are mentioned. In the first part of this thesis, the life of Üveys Vefâ Erzincânî, his services, his works, his students and his death is mentioned and his personality is emphasized. In the second part, Mâverdî, the writer of Edebü’d-dünya ve’d-dîn’, and the content of this book is mentioned together with Üveys Vefâ Erzincânî’s contributions to this book. About his contribution; the general features of Üveys Vefâ Erzincânî’s explanation, the methods he used in this explanation, the sources he used and the important subjects of his explanation are mentioned. In the last part under the headings of documents, the documents that were helpful in order to gain knowledge about Üveys Vefâ Erzincânî are given.
