Antrenör ve Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenlerinin Belirsizliğe Tahammülsüzlük Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, antrenör ve beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Materyal ve Metod: Araştırmada tarama modellerinden biri olan genel tarama başlığı altında yer alan ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini İstanbul İli, Avrupa Yakasında ikamet eden antrenör ve beden eğitimi öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemini ise kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 277 erkek ve 212 kadın olmak üzere (n=489) gönüllü katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak sosyo-demografik anket formu ile belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS 24.00 paket istatistik programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen verilerin normallik testi sonucunda verilerin normal dağılım gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Buna göre araştırmada analiz yöntemi olarak; Bağımsız örneklem T testi ve Oneway Anova analizi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmanın genel bulgularında, antrenör ve beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük düzeylerinin yaş değişkeni ile karşılaştırıldığında ölçeğin ileriye yönelik kaygı alt boyutu ve belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük toplam puanında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmezken, engelleyici kaygı alt boyutunda ise anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. Meslek değişkeni ile karşılaştırıldığında ölçeğin ileriye yönelik kaygı alt boyutunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark tespit edilirken, engelleyici kaygı alt boyutunda ve belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük toplam puanında ise herhangi bir farklılığa rastlanmamıştır. Covid-19 sizi etkiledi mi değişkeni ile karşılaştırıldığında ölçeğin ileriye yönelik kaygı alt boyutunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmezken, engelleyici kaygı alt boyutu ve belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük toplam puanında ise anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Cinsiyet değişkeni ile karşılaştırıldığında ölçeğin alt boyutlar ve toplam puan düzeylerinde anlamlı bir farkın olmadığı görülmüştür. Sonuç: Araştırma sonucunda antrenör ve beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük düzeylerinin ölçekten alınan toplam puanlar düzeyinde incelendiğinde cinsiyet, yaş, meslek değişkenlerinde anlamlı bir farkın olmadığı tespit edilirken, antrenör ve beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük düzeylerinin ölçekten alınan toplam puanlar düzeyinde covid-19 sizi etkiledi mi değişkenine göre anlamlı farkın olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Aim: The aim of this study is to examine the level of intolerance to uncertainty of coaches and physical education teachers. Material and Method: In the study, the relational survey model, which is one of the survey models under the title of general survey, was used. The universe of the research consists of coaches and physical education teachers residing in the European Side of Istanbul Province. The sample consists of 277 male and 212 female volunteer participants (n=489) determined by the kolayda sampling method. As a data collection tool, the socio-demographic questionnaire and the uncertainty intolerance scale were used. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS 24.00 package statistical program. As a result of the normality test of the data obtained in the study, it was found that the data showed a normal distribution. Accordingly, Independent sample T test and Oneway Anova analysis were applied as analysis methods in the study. Results: In the general findings of the study, when the intolerance of uncertainty levels of coaches and physical education teachers were compared with the age variable, no statistically significant difference was found in the prospective anxiety sub-dimension of the scale and the total score of intolerance of uncertainty, while significant differences were found in the inhibitory anxiety sub-dimension. When compared with the occupational variable, a statistically significant difference was found in the prospective anxiety sub-dimension of the scale, while no difference was found in the inhibitory anxiety sub-dimension and the total score of intolerance of uncertainty. When compared with the variable of whether Covid-19 affected you, it was found that there was no statistically significant difference in the prospective anxiety sub-dimension of the scale, while there were significant differences in the inhibitory anxiety sub-dimension and intolerance of uncertainty total score. When compared with the gender variable, it was observed that there was no significant difference in the sub-dimensions and total score levels of the scale. Conclussions: As a result of the research, it was determined that there was no significant difference in the variables of gender, age, and occupation when the intolerance to uncertainty levels of coaches and physical education teachers were examined at the level of total scores from the scale, while it was determined that there was a significant difference in the level of intolerance to uncertainty levels of coaches and physical education teachers at the level of total scores from the scale according to the variable Did covid-19 affect you.
