EĞİTİM BİLİMLERİ ANABİLİM DALINDA YAPILAN YÜKSEK LİSANS TEZLERİNE GENEL BİR BAKIŞ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Trakya Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Eğitim Bilimleri Anabilim Dalı'nda yapılmış yüksek lisans tezlerini yöntem bakımından incelemek ve elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda öneriler geliştirmektir. Doküman analizine dayalı nitel bir çalışma olan araştırmanın verilerini Trakya Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Eğitim Bilimleri Anabilim Dalı'nda yazılmış 41 yüksek lisans tezi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada tezler üzerinde şu sorular incelenmiştir: Tezlerin yıllara göre dağılımları nasıldır, tezlerde hangi araştırma yöntemleri kullanılmıştır, tezlerde hangi araştırma modelleri/desenleri kullanılmıştır, tezlerde hangi örneklem/çalışma grubu ile çalışılmıştır, tezlerde hangi veri toplama araçları kullanılmıştır ve tezlerin bilim dallarına göre dağılımları nasıldır? Yapılan incelemeler neticesinde ulaşılan bulgular şunlardır: Trakya Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Eğitim Bilimleri Anabilim Dalı'nda tezler 20012015 yıllarında yapılmıştır, tezlerde en çok nicel araştırma yöntemi ve tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Veriler en çok öğretmenlerden elde edilmiştir, veri toplama aracı olarak en çok ölçek kullanılmıştır ve en fazla tez eğitim, yönetimi, teftişi, planlaması ve ekonomisi bilim dalında yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bu bulgular doğrultusunda da bir takım öneriler geliştirilmiştir

The aim of this paper is to examine the methods of master thesis conductedat the Department Of Educatıonal Scıences, Trakya Unıversıty and make recommendations according to findings. The paper is a qualitative research based on document analysis.master thesis conducted at the Department Of Educatıonal Scıences, Trakya Unıversıty used as data in this paper. In order to reveal the examine the master thesis some questions such as“Howwas the distribution of the master theses according to years”, ““How was the distribution of the master theses according to research models/designs and methods”, “How was the distribution of the master theses according toworking group (participants)”, “How was the distribution of the master theses according to data collection instruments” and “How was the distribution of the master theses according to departments” aimed to be answered. According to the findings the master thesis conducted at the Department Of Educatıonal Scıences between the academic years of 2001-2015, Trakya Unıversıty the quantitative design and the descriptive model were used in general. Mostly the master thesis conducted with teachers and the data collected by likert type scales and most thesis were conducted at the Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economics deparment. Some suggestions are presented based on the findings
