Publication: Mustafa Çiftci'nin hikâyelerinde yapı ve tema
Abstract
In this study, Mustafa Çiftci's storytelling was evaluated within the framework of the four story books he wrote. In this context, Çiftci's story books named Bozkırda Altmışaltı, Ağlaya Ağlaya Öldük Anam Bacım, Ah Mercimeğim ile Adem’in Kekliği ve Chopin were examined. In the introduction, information about the author's storytelling is given, and in the next four chapters, the stories are examined in terms of structure and theme. This review was carried out under separate chapter headings for each book. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that most of the stories had a similar structure and theme. The author chose the countryside as the setting in all of his stories, based his characters on country people, and shaped the plot based on possible events that could happen in the countryside. At this point, Çiftci is defined as a country writer, but the points that differentiate him from a typical country writer are given. The aim of the study is to introduce Mustafa Çiftci's storytelling.
