TSK hastaneleri acil servis hemşirelerinin adli olgulara ilişkin yaklaşımları

Abstract

1.ÖZET Araştırma, acil servis hemşirelerinin adli olgulara ilişkin yaklaşımlarını belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapıldı. Araştırmanın evrenini, Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri Sağlık Komutanlığı Teşkilat Şeması Eğitim Hastaneleri Yönergesi’ne göre Türkiye genelinde 41 Askeri Hastane’nin acil servislerinde çalışan ve nöbet tutan hemşireler oluşturdu. Örnekleme, acil serviste en az bir yıl çalışma deneyimine sahip, çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden toplam 393 hemşire ile evrenin tümü alındı. Veriler araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan “Bireysel Özellikler Formu” ve “Adli Olgulara İlişkin Girişimlerin Sıklık ve Önemini Değerlendirme Formu” aracılığıyla katılımcı bilgilendirme ve onam formlarıyla birlikte posta yoluyla elde edildi. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistik yöntemlerden; oran, ortalama (x), standart sapma (SD) ile bağımlı iki grup ortalamasının karşılaştırılmasında t-testi kullanıldı. Araştırmada hemşirelerin çoğunluğunun mesleki eğitimleri sırası ve sonrasında adli olgulara ilişkin eğitim almadıkları; adli olguların ilk değerlendirmesi, delil toplama ve saklanmasına ilişkin girişimleri “nadiren”, hastaya bilgi verme ve onay alma girişimlerini “arada sırada”, kayıt tutma-ilgili birimlere bildirme girişimlerini ise “sıklıkla” yaptıkları belirlendi. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular hemşirelerin adli olgulara ilişkin eğitimleri ve yaklaşımlarının yeterli olmadığını göstermekte olup, acil servislerde adli olgulara ilişkin girişimlerin önemine dikkat çekilerek mesleki ve mezuniyet sonrası eğitimlerin yaygınlaştırılması önerilmektedir. THE APPROACH OF TURKISH ARMED FORCES HOSPITALS EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT NURSES TOWARDS FORENSİC MATTERS This research has been carried out to identify the emergency department nurses’ approach towards forensic matters. The research plane consists of nurses working and waiting on post in 41 Military Hospitals throughout Turkey according to Turkish Armed Forces Health Command Organization Plan Educational Hospitals Directive. Sampling, 393 nurses that has at least one year of experience in the emergency department and who accepted to take part in the research and the whole plane was taken. The data has been acquired through “Personal Characteristics Form” and “Frequency and Importance Evaluation Form Relating to Forensic matters” which have been prepared by the researcher with participant information and approval forms via post. In the evaluation process of the data, t-test to compare two bound group means was used alongside ratio, mean (x) and deviation (SD) of the statistical methods. The research shows that most of the nurses did not get forensic education during or after their professional education, and that they rarely attempt evidence collection and storage which are the initial evaluations of the forensic matters, that they sometimes attempt informing the patients and receiving consent, and that they often attempt recording-reporting to the appertaining units. The findings of this research show that forensic education and approach of the nurses is not enough and showing the importance of forensic attempts in the emergency departments, it suggests the spreading of professional and post-graduation education.
