Taşın ekonomiye kazandırılması: Tokat’ta süs taşı işlemeciliği

Abstract

Renk, parlaklık ve desenleriyle yüzyıllardır insanların dikkatini çeken değerli ve yarı değerli taşlar, günümüzde “Süs Taşları” olarak ekonomiye kazandırılmaktadır. Farklı dönemlerde değişik anlamlar yüklenen bu taşlar yönünden Türkiye, önemli bir potansiyele sahiptir. Aynı zamanda pazarlara olan yakınlığı sayesinde önemli bir konumda bulunmakta ancak pazarlama ve işletmeciliğin yetersizliğinden dolayı süs taşı pazarında hak ettiği yerde değildir. Tokat, son yıllarda süs taşı işlemeciliğinde önemli bir yol kat ederek bu sektörü ekonomiye kazandırmaya başlamıştır. İl sınırları içinde Akik, Collawood (ağaç opal), Jasper, Obsidyen, Kalsedon, Agat, Krizopras, Dolomit, Kkalsit, Opal, Selenit, Ametist gibi çok farklı taşlar çıkarılmaktadır. Tokat’ta taş işlemeciliği yapan toplam yedi işletme bulunmaktadır. Bunun dördü özel, üçü kamuya aittir. Kamu kurum ve kuruluşları bünyesinde açılan ilk atölye 2015 yılında Zile’de Halk Eğitim Merkezinde hizmete başlamıştır. Bu işletme ildeki ilk atölye olmuştur. Ardından 2019 yılında Tokat Merkez’de Halk Eğitim Merkezinde açılan atölye ildeki ikinci işletme olmuştur. Kamuya ait diğer atölye ise 2022 yılında Artova’da faaliyete başlamıştır. Günümüzde Tokat atölyesi olgunlaşma Enstitüsü’ne devredilirken, Zile atölyesi Halk Eğitim Merkezi ve Artova atölyesi ise Belediye bünyesinde faaliyetine devam etmektedir. İlde çıkarılan taşlar Halk Eğitim Merkezi’nde işlenerek ticari forma dönüştürülmektedir. Kısa bir zamanda çok yol kat edilerek ilk mezunlarını vererek özel ticari işletmelerin kurulmasını sağlamıştır. Bu şekilde ikisi Tokat Merkez’de ikisi ise Turhal’da olmak üzere toplam dört özel teşebbüs işletmesi bulunmaktadır. İşlenen taşların ticarileştirilmesi konusunda önemli bir yol kat edilmiştir. Olgunlaşma Enstitüsü bünyesindeki işletmede satış yoktur. Ancak Artova’daki atölyede işlenen taşlar uluslararası bir firma tarafından satın alınarak İzmir’den ihraç edilmektedir. Zile atölyesi ile özel işletmelerin ise ilk günden itibaren yurtiçi ve yurtdışı faaliyetleri devam etmektedir. Kaynak açısından zengin olan Tokat’ta etkin pazarlama yöntemleri, tanıtım, markalaşma ve sertifika hizmetlerinin yapılması sektörün hızlı bir şekilde büyümesini sağlayacaktır. Turkey has an important potential in terms of these stones, which have been given different meanings in different periods. Sunday Sunday is also in an important position thanks to its proximity to the markets, but due to the lack of marketing and management, it is not in the right place in the ornamental stone market. Tokat has started to bring this sector into the economy by making an important progress in ornamental stone processing in recent years. Many different stones such as Agate, Collawood (tree opal), Jasper, Obsidian, Chalcedony, Agate, Chrysoprase, Dolomite, Calcite, Opal, Selenite, Amethyst are mined within the provincial borders. There are a total of seven enterprises engaged in stone processing in Tokat. Of these, four are private, three are publicly owned. The first workshop opened within the structure of public institutions and organizations started to serve at the Public Education Center in Zile in 2015. This enterprise was the first workshop in the province. Then, the workshop opened at the Public Education Center in Tokat Center in 2019 and became the second enterprise in the province. The other public workshop started its activities in Artova in 2022. Today, while the Tokat workshop has been transferred to the maturation Institute, the Zile workshop is the Public Education Center and the Artova workshop continues its activities within the Municipality. The stones extracted in the province are processed at the Public Education Center and converted into commercial form. He has come a long way in a short time and provided the establishment of private commercial enterprises by giving his first graduates. In this way, there are a total of four private enterprise enterprises, two of which are in Tokat Center and two in Turhal. An important path has been taken in the commercialization of processed stones. There are no sales at the enterprise within the Maturation Institute. However, the stones processed in the workshop in Artova are purchased by an international company and exported from Izmir. On the other hand, domestic and international activities of private enterprises with the Zile workshop have been continuing since the first day. Effective marketing methods, promotion, branding and certification services in Tokat, which is rich in resources, will ensure the rapid growth of the sector.
