Publication: Sıçanlarda diş çekimi sonrasında uygulanan lokal hemostatik ajan Ankaferd’in doku iyileşmesi üzerine etkilerinin karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmesi
Abstract
A Comparative Study of The Effects of Local Hemostatic Agent Ankaferd® on Tissue Healing of Rat Extraction Sockets The aim of our study, was to examine, the effects of local hemostatic agent Ankaferd® which is a plant extract that blood stopper features have been shown with a lot of study, on rat tooth extraction wound healing with histological assessment in comparison with Celox® a chitosan based agent with proven positive effects on healing. In our study we used 24 Sprague-Dawley male rats to the right and left lower 1st two grains total of 48 shooting and pulled molar region was developed. These regions were divided into three groups. Two groups of rat extraction sockets in equal numbers were topically appllied Ankaferd® and Celox® hemostatic agents and the control group was left without any drug application. These three groups were processed in the 2nd, 7th and 21 days for histological evaluation. As a result, the histological observations showed that Ankaferd® has positive effects on early wound healing.
