Publication: Matematik Dersinde Bilgisayar Destekli Öğretimin Öğrenci Başarı ve Tutumlarına Etkisi
Abstract
Bu araştırma, bilgisayar destekli öğretimin öğrenci başarısına etkisi ve bilgisayar destekli eğitimin öğrencilerin matematik dersine olan tutumlarına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirildi. Bu araştırmada ön test-son test kontrol gruplu desen kullanılmıştır. Çalışma deneysel bir araştırma niteliğindedir. Araştırmanın örneklemini İstanbul ili, Bağcılar ilçesi, Evren İlköğretim Okulunun kontrol ve deney gurubu olarak iki farklı sınıfı öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Uygulamaya geçmeden önce her iki grubu da ölçme araçları olarak ön test ve tutum testi verildi. Ön testlerin verilmesinden sonra ilköğretim 7. sınıf matematik dersinin "Çember, Daire ve Silindir" konusu kontrol grubunda geleneksel öğretim metodu ile, deney grubunda da bilgisayar destekli öğretim metodu ile verildi. Uygulama periodu bitiminde gruplara son testler uygulandı. Ayrıca öğrenci kişisel bilgilerini elde etmek üzere bir öğrenci bilgi formu uygulandı. Araştırmada anlamlılık düzeyi 0,05 olarak alınmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinden sonra araştırmada sonucunda aşağıdaki sonuçlara ulaşıldı: Bilgisayar destekli öğretim metodu ile yapılan öğretimde, geleneksel öğretim metodu ile yapılan öğretime göre 0.05 manidarlık seviyesinde anlamlı bir fark olduğu görülmüştür. Bilgisayar destekli öğretim metodu ile öğretim yapılan öğrencilerde, geleneksel metot ile öğretim yapılan öğrencilere göre, öğrencilerin matematik dersine ilişkin tutumlarında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu görülmüştür.
This research was done to determine the effect of computer aided education to the accomplishment of students and students' behaviors towards mathematics course. In this research the pre test group model has been used, and the research has been done as a field experiment. Subjects of the experiment are students from İstanbul Bağcılar Evren Preliminary School as experiment and control group. The measurement tools were given to both of the groups before application procedure as preview tests (an achievement and an attitude test). After these tests were given, "Circle and Cylinder" subject from mathematics course at 7th grade was thought to both groups, using traditional method for the control group and using computer aided teaching method for the experiment group. At the end of the application period last tests were given to both groups. And a questionnaire was applied to the students to get their personal information. In the research the significant level is 0,05. After analyzing the collected data, following results obtained from the research are: There is a meaningful difference between the instruction with computer aided teaching method and traditional method, at a significant level of 0.05. There is an observed difference in students' attitude between instructed with computer aided teaching method and the traditional education method.
