Publication: İsmail Hakkı Tonguç'un sanat eğitimine katkıları
Abstract
Türkiye’de sanat eğitiminin temel karakterlerinden biri olan İsmail Hakkı Tonguç, sanat eğitimine verdiği katkılarından dolayı cumhuriyet dönemi Türk sanat eğitiminin öncüsü olmuştur. Uygulamalarıyla sanat eğitimini şekillendiren Tonguç’un, bu konudaki en önemli uygulamaları hiç şüphesiz Köy Enstitüleri ve Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi Resim-iş Bölümünün kurulması olmuştur. Sanat eğitimi konusunda çeşitli eserler veren Tonguç, bu iki eğitim kurumuyla sanat eğitiminin toplumun her aşamasına yayılmasını amaçlamış, bu amaçla sanat yoluyla eğitim konusunda önemli atılımlar gerçekleştirmiştir. Günümüz sanat eğitiminde etkileri hala hissedilen İsmail Hakkı Tonguç’un sanat eğitimine yaptığı katkılarının araştırıldığı bu araştırmanın amacı, İsmail Hakkı Tonguç’un Türkiye’deki sanat eğitimine dair çalışmalarının araştırılması, eğitim ve sanat eğitimi ile ilgili görüşlerinin incelenmesi ve bu bilgiler ışığında İsmail Hakkı Tonguç’un Türkiye’nin sanat eğitimindeki rolünün ilgili kaynakların taranarak objektif şekilde ortaya konulmasıdır.
İsmail Hakkı Tonguç, one of the fundamental character of arts education in Turkey; became the pioneer of Turkish art education in the Republican Period due to his contributions to art education. The most important applications of Tonguç, who shaped art education with his practices, were undoubtedly the establishment of the Village Institutes and the Department of Painting and the Gazi Education Faculty. Having produced various works on art education, Tonguç aimed at spreading art education to every stage of society with these two educational institutions, and made important strides in education through arts for this purpose. The purpose of this research, which investigates İsmail Hakkı Tonguç's contributions to art education is to investigate of Ismail Hakkı Tonguç’s studies on arts education in Turkey; examining his opinions about education and to present İsmail Hakkı Tonguç’s role of arts education in Turkey objectively through scanning of resources.
