Blok zinciri teknolojisi ve kripto paralar : mevcut durum, potansiyel ve risk analizi

Abstract

Günümüzde teknoloji hızla ilerlemekte ve günlük hayatın pek çok alanında aktif olarak kullanılmaktadır. Teknolojinin hayatı kolaylaştıran etkisi gerek finans sektöründe gerekse diğer sektörlerde mevcut süreçleri teknolojik alternatifleri ile değiştirme ihtiyacı duyulmasına neden olmuştur. Söz konusu teknolojik alternatiflerden biri de blok zinciri teknolojisidir. Blok zinciri teknolojisi, verilerin şifrelenerek kaydedilmesini ve takip edilmesini sağlayan bir kayıt sistemidir. Bu teknoloji mevcut sistemdeki güven, zaman ve maliyet gibi problemlere çözüm sunmak üzere tasarlanmıştır. Veriler blok zincirine herkese açık ve değişmez olarak kaydedilmekte ve işlemleri gerçekleştiren tarafların arasında aracı bulunmamaktadır. Böylelikle süreçler daha hızlı ve ekonomik hale getirilirken aynı zamanda güven ihtiyacı da ortadan kaldırılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada blok zinciri teknolojisi tanıtılmış, mevcut ve potansiyel kullanım alanlarıyla ilgili bilgi verilmiştir. Sistemin kendine özgü yapısı itibariyle sağlamış olduğu avantajlar anlatılırken olası risklerden de bahsedilerek hem olumlu hem olumsuz değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.

Nowadays, technology is advancing rapidly and being actively used in many areas of daily life. The convenient impact of technology on life has caused the need to change existing procedures in finance sector and other sectors with technological substitutes. One of these technological substitutes is block chain technology. Block chain technology is a recording system that allows data to be encrypted and tracked. This technology is intended to provide solutions to problems such as trust, time and costs that appear in the existing system. The data stored in the block chain is open to public and invariable and there is no intermediary between the parties performing the transactions. Thus, the procedures are made faster and more economical, while the need for trust is eliminated. In this study, block chain technology has been introduced and information regarding current and potential uses are given. Both positive and negative evaluations were made mentioning potential risks whereas explaining the advantages of the system in terms of its unique structure.
