Publication: Organ nakli ve diyaliz ünitelerinde çalışan sağlık profesyonellerinin organ/ doku bağışı ve nakline yönelik yaklaşımlarının değerlendirilmesi
Abstract
1.ÖZET Araştırma, organ nakli ve diyaliz ünitelerinde çalışan sağlık profesyonellerinin organ ve doku bağışına yönelik yaklaşımlarını, beklentilerini, bilgilerini ve düşüncelerini belirleyerek ülkemizde organ ve doku bağışına yönelik yapılan çalışmalara bilimsel açıdan katkı sağlamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma 01.04.2008- 15.08.2008 tarihleri arasında İstanbul ilinde kamu ve özel kurumlar olmak üzere toplam 27 diyaliz merkezi ve 8 organ nakli merkezlerinde çalışan 309 sağlık profesyonelleri ile yapıldı. Araştırmada veriler, organ nakli ve diyaliz ünitelerinde çalışan sağlık profesyonellerine yönelik hazırlanan anket formu uygulanarak toplandı. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulguların değerlendirilmesinde SPSS for Windows 10.0 kullanıldı. Verilerin istatistiksel değerlendirilmesinde; ortalama, standart sapma, yüzdelik, student t-testi, ki-kare testi ve fisher’s exacte testi kullanıldı. Elde edilen sonuçlar %95’lik güven aralığında, anlamlılığı p<0.05 düzeyinde olmak üzere değerlendirildi. Verilerden elde edilen sonuçlara göre; sağlık profesyonellerinin %90 (n=278)’nının organ/ doku bağışı ve naklini desteklemesine karşın, %77.02 (n=238)’sinin organ/ doku bağışı kartına sahip olmadığı saptandı. Sağlık profesyonellerinin %59.66 (n=142)’sının güvensizlik, %31.51 (n=75)’inin korku ve %18.07 (n=43)’sinin de bağışlanan organın amacına uygun kullanılmaması nedeniyle organ ve doku bağışında bulunmadıkları saptandı. Evalutions of the attitude of the personel working in organ transplantation and dialysis units to the donations and tranfers of organs and tissues. This research’s aim is to make scientific contributions to the studies concerning the donations of organs and tissues in our country, by determining the attitudes, expectations, knowledge and thoughts of the medical employees working in organ transplantation and dialysis units. The research has been carried out at 8 public and private organ transplantation centers and at 27 public and private dialysis centers, in Istanbul, by interviewing the medical personnel, between the dates of 01.04.2008 – 15.08.2008. In the research, data has been collected by applying the survey forms oriented for the medical employees working in organ transplantation and dialysis units. For evaluating the findings of the research, SPSS for Windows 10.0 Program has been used. For evaluating the statistical data, tests of average deviation, standard deviation, percentage distribution, students t-test and chi square test. It was determined that the results are regarded as 95 % confidence range and their significances are at p<0.05 level. According to this research’s results data, although 90 % (n=278) of medical personnel support the donations of organs and tissues, 77.02 % (n=238) of them do not have any organ/ tissue donation card. It was determined that 59.66 % (n=142) of them do not donate any organ and tissues for the reason of distrust, 31.51 % (n=75) of them for the reason of fear and 18.07 % (n=43) of them for the reason of that the donated organs and tissues are not used for the actual purpose.
