Mushaf iimlâsı bağlamında Mehdevî ve Hicâu Mesâhifi'l-Emsâr adlı eseri

Abstract

Kur’ân ı Kerim, Hz. Ebûbekir döneminde derlenerek iki kapak arasına alınmış, Hz. Osman'ın halifeliği zamanında ise istinsah edilerek önemli İslam merkezlerine gönderilmiştir. Belli başlı İslam beldelerine gönderilmiş olan Osman Mushafları genel kabule göre altı olup Mesâhifi’l-Emsâr olarak anılmaktadır. Mesâhif-i Osmâniyye diye isimlendirilen bu ilk mushafların kendilerine özel bir imlâ yapısı bulunmaktadır. Bu mushafların imla yapısı, daha sonraki mushaflar için örnek teşkil etmiş ve ilk defa yazılacak mushafların bu özel imlâya uygun olması konusunda genel bir görüş hâkim olmuştur. İlk mushafların imlâ özelliğini ve aralarındaki yazım farklılıklarını muhafaza edebilmek için resmü’l-mushaf eserleri telif edilmiştir. Bununla beraber erken dönemde yazılan eserlerin birçoğu günümüze ulaşmamıştır. Ancak günümüze ulaşan eserler dördüncü, beşinci asırdan itibaren yazılan eserler olmuştur. Hiç şüphesiz resm-i Osmânî’nin imlâ özelliklerini nakleden bu eserlerin en meşhurları Dânî ve talebesi İbn Necâh’ın eserleridir. Ayrıca Endülüs'te Dânî ile aynı asırda yaşamış olan Mehdevî’nin Hicâu Mesâhifi’l-Emsâr adlı eseri günümüze ulaşan ilk eserlerden olması hasebiyle önem arz etmektedir. Çalışmamıza konu olan bu eser ile Mehdevî’nin resmü’l-mushaf, resm-î Osmânî ile ilgili görüşleri, Hz. Osman'ın istinsah ettirip farklı İslam beldelerine gönderdiği mushaf nüshalarının imlâ özellikleri ve bu nüshalar arasındaki yazım farklılıklarının aktarılması hedeflenmektedir.

The holy Qur'an was compiled during the time of Abu Bakr. During the caliphate of Othman, it was copied and sent to important Islamic cities. These “Othman Mushafs*” are six by general agreement and known as Mesâhıfi'l Emsâr. These first mushafs, also called “Mesâhif’i Osmâniyye”, have a unique spelling. The orthographic structure of these mushafs has been decisive for later mushafs and care has been taken to ensure that the new mushafs to be written are suitable for this orthography. In order to preserve the spelling feature of the first mushafs and the spelling differences among them, books called resmü’l mushaf were written. However, most of the books written in the early period have not survived. The works that have survived are the books written after the fourth and fifth centuries. Undoubtedly, the most famous of these works are the works of Dânî and his student İbn Necâh. In addition, the work of Mehdevî, who lived at the same period as Dânî in Andalusia, called “Hicâu Mesâhif'l Emsâr” is also important because it is one of the first works that reached us. With this work, which is the subject of our study, it is aimed to convey Mehdevî's views on the resmü'l mushaf, the resm-i Osmânî, the orthographic features of the mushaf copies that Osman had copied and sent to Islamic cities and the spelling differences among these copies.
