Abstract
CERRAHİ HEMŞİRELERİNİN TEKNOLOJİYE İLİŞKİN TUTUMLARI ÖZET Gelişen teknoloji, eğitim ve sağlık alanında etkili ve verimli hizmet sunma olanağını arttırmakta, tüm mesleklerde olduğu gibi hemşirelikte de gerek eğitimde gerek uygulama alanlarında ülkemiz açısından giderek önem kazanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, meslek üyelerinin, gelişen teknolojiyi doğru ve etkin kullanılabilmesi için bilimsel, ekonomik, sosyal ve etik boyutlarını sürekli değerlendirerek, gerekli düzenlemeleri yapabilecek bilgi, beceri, tutum ve davranışa sahip olmasını zorunlu hale getirmektedir. Araştırmanın evrenini, İstanbul il sınırları içinde, Anadolu yakasında bulunan özel, üniversite ve devlet hastanelerindeki cerrahi kliniklerde çalışan hemşireler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, literatür ışığında geliştirilen cerrahi hemşirelerinin sosyo-demografik özelliklerine ve teknolojiye ilişkin 22 sorudan oluşan anket formu ve cerrahi hemşirelerinin teknolojiye ilişkin tutumlarını belirlemeye yönelik Teknolojiye Karşı Tutum ölçeği ile elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 11.0 paket programında, frekans-yüzdeleme, Nonparametrik Korelasyon Analizi, Mann-Whitney Testi, Kruskal-Wallis Testi, aritmetik ortalama, yöntemleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiş ve bulgular literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, cerrahi hemşirelerin % 55’inin (n=143) devlet hastanesinde, % 29.2’sinin (n=76) özel hastanede, % 15.8’inin (n=41) üniversite hastanesinde çalıştığı, % 60.4’ünün (n=157) bilgisayara sahip olduğu, % 82.7’sinin (n=215) e–posta adresine sahip olduğu, % 32,7’sinin (n=75) teknoloji ile ilgili eğitim programına katıldığı,% 79.2’sinin (206) teknoloji ile ilgili kurs ya da kongreye katıldığı, % 66’sının (n=171) hemşirelik ile ilgili teknolojik gelişmeleri izlediği belirlenmiştir. Cerrahi hemşirelerin genelde teknolojiye ilişkin olumlu tutum içinde oldukları; yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim durumu ve çalışma yılının teknolojiye ilişkin tutumu etkilemediği ortaya çıkmıştır. SURGICAL NURSE’S ATTITUDES TOWARD TECHNOLOGY With the advances in technology, it became easier to increase the effectiveness and the quality of service in education and health care, thus, technological improvements are gaining more importance in educational and practical areas of nursery in our country. In this context, it is a necessity for members of this occupational group to gain knowledge, skills and behaviors that enable using technology more properly while making required regulations in scientific, economic, social aspects. Subjects of this research are surgical nurses that work in university, private and public hospitals which located in Anadolu district of İstanbul. The data of the research were gathered by using a 22-question survey form that determines the nurses’ socio demographic characteristic and measures the answerer’s attitude against technology. Gathered data were examined and discussed in consideration of the literature by using Nonparametric Correlations, Mann-Whitney Test, Kruskal-Wallis Test, frequency adjust, arithmetic average methods in SPSS 11.0 computer programme. As a conclusion, it is seen that, % 55 of surgical nurses are working in public hospitals, % 29.2 of them in private hospitals, and % 15.8 of them in university hospitals. % 60.4 of nurses have a personal computer, while % 82.7 have a e-mail address. It also found that % 66 of the subjects are interested in technological improvements about nursery, % 32.7 of them were took an education programme related with technology and % 79.2 of nurses were been into a course or congress about technology.
