Gazali’ye göre insanı helake sürükleyen sebepler

Abstract

GAZÂLÎ’YE GÖRE İNSANI HELAKE SÜRÜKLEYEN SEBEPLER İslâm dünyasının yetiştirmiş olduğu en önemli isimlerden birisi de Gazâlî’dir. Ansiklopedist diye bilinen çok yönlü düşünür tipinin en başarılı örneklerinden biri olan Gazâlî, çeşitli alanlarda ortaya koymuş olduğu çok sayıdaki eser ile İslâm bilim ve düşünce tarihine önemli katkılar sağlamıştır. Çile dolu halvet hayatının bir ürünü olan “İhyâ’ü- ulûmi’d-Dîn” Gazâlî’nin en önemli eserleri arasında gösterilmektedir. Tezimizi, dört bölümden oluşan bu eserin üçüncü bölümü olan “Rub’u’l-Mühlikât” bölümü oluşturmuştur. Bu bölümde Gazâlî, insanı maddi ve manevi anlamda helake sürükleyen sebepleri son derece dirayetli bir şekilde psikolojik ve pedagojik tahliller yapmak suretiyle açıklamıştır. İnsanın manevi yönü, yeme-içme ve cinsi arzuların kontrol altına alınması, dilin sebep olduğu afetler, gazap, kin ve haset, dünyanın anlamı ve önemi, cimrilik ve mal tutkusu, mevki tutkusu ve riya, kibir, kendini beğenmişlik ve gurur Din eğitimi bağlamında tez içinde ele alınan konulardandır. Gazâlî, temelde insanı helake sürükleyen hususların başında maddi anlamda dünya sevgisini, manevi anlamda ise kibir ve gururu saydı. Bu duyguların eğitimi konusunda ise ilim ve amel karışımı bir metodu tavsiye etti. Tez içinde bunlar ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alındı ve din eğitiminin metotları çerçevesinde konular incelenmeye çalışıldı. Gazâlî’nin üzerinde durmadığı ancak din eğitimi açısından açıklanması gereken konular ise özellikle açıklanmaya çalışıldı.

REASONS LEAD THE HUMAN BEING TO DESTRUCTION ACCORDING TO AL-GHAZALI Al-Ghazali is one of the very important scholars in Islamic world. He contributed considerable to the Islamic history of science and thinking by his lots of work written on different matters. Ihyâu Ulûm ad-Dîn, product of very hard and suffering times in his life, shown as one of his very important writings, even first. Our thesis is formed with the third part of this book, i. e. Ihyâu Ulûm ad-Dîn, named Rub’ al-Muhlikât. In this part, Al-Ghazali expressed the reasons lead the human being to destruction physically and spiritually, with doing psychological and pedagogical analyses skilfully. Those are some matters studied in this thesis at the context of religious education: Spiritual aspect of human being, to control of eating-drinking and sexual desires, destructions of the tongue, wrath, grudge and envy, meaning and importance of the world, miserliness, hypocrisy, arrogance and self-satisfaction. According to Al-Ghazali, there are affection for the world as physical, arrogance and vanity as spiritual at the top of the reasons lead the human being to destruction. He advices for the education of these feelings a method mixed with science (‘ilm) and action (‘amel). In the thesis these are examined in detail and studied within the frame of the religious education. The matters that Al-Ghazali doesn’t dwell upon are especially explained and clarified.
