Tekstilde Malzemenin Işıkla İlişkisi Üzerine Deneysel Bir Yaklaşım: '7 Kumaş, 7 Yüz, 14 el ile Anadolu'ya Dokunmak'

Abstract

Farklı sanatçılar tarafından yapılmış sanatsal tekstiller veya bu tekstil eserler üzerindeki araştırmalara bakıldığında, çalışmalardaki belirleyici öğenin, tekstilde renk, doku, örgü ya da bunların birlikte kullanımlarının olduğu söylenebilir. Aynı zamanda, tekstil yapılarını oluşturan liflerin farklı teknikler ile kullanım biçimleri doğrultusunda ortaya çıkan hacimli nesnelerin ışıkla olan ilişkisi bağlamında, boyut kavramı da ön plana çıkmaktadır. Bu tür hacimli tekstil nesnelerde ışık geçirgenliği konusu, daha önceden sıklıkla ele alınmamış bir konu olması nedeni ile bu makalede, ışığın nesne üzerindeki etkisi ve yarattığı boyut bakımından incelenmiştir. 'Bezce 2016 Anadolu'ya Dokunan Bezler' Uluslararası Tekstil Sanatı Sergisi'nde yer alan örneklerin ele alındığı makalede yaratma ve üretme süreci değerlendirilmiştir. Makaleye konu olan çalışmada deneysel bir süreç takip edilmiştir. Makalede, 'Anadolu'ya Dokunduk' adlı bu çalışmanın deneysel süreci, tüm aşamaları ve kullanılan malzemenin özellikleri ile seçilme nedenleri ve malzemenin geçirgenliğinin estetik açıdan değerlendirilmesi ele alınmış, fotoğraflar eşliğinde irdelenmiştir. Sonuçta, bezin geçirgenliği ile sanatçının kazandığı biçimlendirmedeki olanaklar ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.

While examining the artistic textiles produced by several artists or the researches done on these textile works, it could be said that the main defining subject is the colour on textile, texture on textile, structure on textile or usage of all these together. In the meantime, the conception of dimension comes forward in the scope of the relation between voluminous objects, that are formed with textile fibers produced in diverse techniques, and light. Because the theme of light transparency in volunimous textile objects is rarely researched, the effect and the dimesion of light on these objects are examined in this article. The creative and productive process of the examples that are chosen from the International Textile Art Exhibition 'Bezce 2016 Fabrics Touching Anatolia', are evaluated. An experimental process is conducted during the workout. In this article, the experimental workout named 'We Touched Anatolia' is examined with all its production processes, the materials used and the reason why they were chosen, together with the transperancy of materials and their aesthetics. Finally, it is intended to reveal the potentiality that the fabric's transparency gives to the artist's way of forming.
