Abstract
1. ÖZETHemşirelerin Diğerkâmlık DüzeyleriÖğrenci:Huriye ARSLANERDanışman: Prof. Dr. Ayşe Nefise BAHÇECİK Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Semanur Kumral ÖZÇELİKAnabilim Dalı: Hemşirelikte YönetimAmaç: Araştırma hemşirelerin diğerkâmlık düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı.Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı nitelikteki çalışma İstanbul ilinde bulunan bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinde çalışmakta olan 390 hemşire ile gerçekleştirildi. Veriler, Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Diğerkâmlık Ölçeği kullanılarak toplandı. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Student’s t test, One-Way ANOVA test, Bonferroni test kullanıldı.Bulgular: Hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması 29,74±7,22 yıl olup, %84,6’sı kadın, %43,8’i evli, %34,1’i çocuk sahibi, %66,9’u lisans mezunu, %34,6’sı 2-5 yıl mesleki deneyime sahip olduğu görüldü. Hemşirelerin diğerkâmlık ölçeği toplam, özveri ve bencillik alt boyut puan ortalamaları sırasıyla 51,51±9,82, 60,28±8,24, 8,77±3,16 olarak bulundu. Ayrıca, mesleğini isteyerek seçen, 1 yıl ve altı mesleki deneyime sahip, sürekli gündüz ve vardiyalı çalışan, haftada ortalama 41-50 saat çalışan, mesleği ile ilgili bilimsel yayınları takip eden ve mesleğini seven hemşirelerin diğerkâmlık ölçeği toplam puanlarının istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu görüldü (p<0,05; p<0,01).Sonuç: Hemşirelerin diğerkâmlık düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu bulundu. erkâmlık, Hastane, Hemşirelik

The data were collected using Introductory Information Form and Altruism Scale. Descriptive statistics, Student’s t test, One-Way Anova test and Bonferroni test were used to evaluate the data.Results: Nurses had a mean age of 29.74±7.22 years, %84.6 were women, 43.8% were married, 34.1% had children, 66.9% had bachelor's degree, and 34.6% had 2-5 years of professional experience. Nurses’ total score from the altruism scale and their mean scores from the self-sacrifice and selfishness subscales were 51.51±9.82, 60.28± 8.24 and8.77±3.16, respectively. In addition, nurses who voluntarily chose their profession, had 1 year or less professional experience, always worked daytime and in shifts, worked for an average of 41-50 hours a week, followed scientific publications related to their profession and loved their profession had statistically significantly higher total scores from the altruism scale of the (p<0,05; p<0,01).Conclusion: Nurses had high levels of altruism.Key words: Altruism, Hospital, Nursing
