Tahvil piyasası işlemlerinin Türk sermaye piyasasındaki yeri ve önemi

Abstract

Tüm dünyada yıllardır kullanılan bir borçlanma aracı olarak tahviller hem devletler hem de firmalar açısından oldukça önemli bir finansal enstrüman olarak yerini korumaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı, Türk sermaye piyasasında tahvil ihracının öneminin araştırılmasıdır. Tezin içeriğinde tahviller, ihraç eden taraf olarak devlet ve şirketler açısından ele alınırken tahvili talep eden taraf olarak yatırımcılar açısından da irdelenerek Türk sermaye piyasasında tahvillere bakış açısı irdelenmiştir. Şirketlerin yatırımlarını finanse etmede öz kaynak finansmanını mı yoksa borçlanmayı mı tercih ettiği konusu araştırılarak bu tercihteki nedenler irdelenmek suretiyle tahvil piyasası işlemleri, kendisine bir rakip olan pay piyasası işlemleri ile kıyaslanarak ele alınmıştır.As a debt instrument that has been used all over the world for years, bonds maintain their place as a very important financial instrument for both governments and companies. The aim of the research is to investigate the importance of bond issuance in the Turkish capital market. In the content of the thesis, the bonds are handled from the point of view of the state and companies as the issuing party, and the perspective of the Turkish capital market on the bonds by examining the investors as the demanding party. The issue of whether companies prefer equity financing or borrowing in financing their investments is investigated and the reasons for this preference are examined, and the bond market transactions are dealt with by comparing them with the share market transactions that are a competitor.
