Hizmetçi eğitimde interaktif yöntemlerin etkinliğinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, hizmet içi eğitimde interaktif yöntemlerin etkinliğini değerlendirmek amacıyla, bir devlet hastanesinde rastlantısal yöntemle seçilen ve araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılan 41 hemşire ile deneysel olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan hemşireler iki gruba ayrılmış, her iki gruba da düz anlatım ile AIDS, interaktif yöntem ile Hepatit konusu ayrı ayrı anlatılmıştır. Her iki konuda 11'er soru hazırlanmış, eğitim öncesi ve eğitim sonrası aynı sorular sorularak değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Hemşirelerin yöntemler hakkındaki duygu ve düşüncelerini belirlemek için her iki konu aktarımı sonunda 19 sorudan oluşan form verilerek değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın kapsamını, sağlık meslek lisesi, ön lisans ve lisans mezunu hemşireler oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında kullanılan araçlar; bilgi formları ve araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin, kullanılan öğretim yöntemlerine ilişkin düşüncelerini belirlemek amacıyla geliştirilmiş formlardır. Veriler yüzdelik değerler ve ortalamalar ile verilmiş, öğretim yöntemlerinin karşılaştırılmasında hazırlanan konu ile ilgili ön test ve son test soruları McNemar ve hemşirelerin yöntemler hakkındaki duygu ve düşünceleri ile ilgili bölümü, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Testi yöntemi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Düz anlatım ve interaktif yöntemlerin ön test ve son test sonuçlarının genel değerlendirilmesinde, her iki yöntemde başarı oranı yüksek ve anlamlı olarak bulunmuştur . Soru bazında değerlendirildiğinde ise interaktif yöntemin düz anlatıma göre, daha başarılı olduğu saptanmıştır. Hemşirelerin hizmet içi eğitim programlarında kullanılan düz anlatım ve interaktif yöntem hakkındaki duygu ve düşünceleri konusunda interaktif lehine anlamlı olarak bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak hizmet içi eğitimde kullanılacak yöntemlerin hepsinin başarılı olabileceği, yöntemler ile ilgili düşüncelerde; interaktif yöntemlerin daha etkili olacağı saptanmıştır. 2.

EVALUATING THE EFFECTIVITY OF INTERACTIVE METHODS IN PROFESSIONAL TRAINING This research has been made to evaluate the affectivity of interactive methods in professional training. Research has been done on an experimental base with 41 randomly selected volunteer nurses who work in a public hospital. The nurses who attended to our research were divided into two groups Two subjects (AIDS and Hepatitis) were told by the same teacher to both groups. The teaching method for the subject AIDS was giving lecture while it was interactive method for Hepatitis. A test consisting of 11 questions was done before and after the education about the subjects and also a questionnaire of 19 questions was given to find out the feelings and opinions of the nurses on the teaching methods at the end. Date was represented by means and percentage values. Mc Nemar Method was used for comparison of pre and post tests' results. Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test Method was used to evaluate the feelings and opinions of nurses about the teaching methods. The scope of the research was nurses including Health Vocational School, Nursery High School bachelor and pre-bachelor degree graduates. While evaluating pre and post tests' results of both giving lecture and interactive method, high success ratio values and significant results were obtained. Interactive method was found to be more effective than giving lecture, When compared on the basis of questions. When we compared the feeling and opinions of nurses about giving lecture and interactive methods, a meaningful result is obtained in favor of interactive method. As a result, we conclude that both methods may be successful, but interactive method is more effective to obtain positive opinions than lecture method.
