Abstract
Bu araştırma, 1985-2010 yılları arasında Emine Şenlikoğlu öncülüğünde çıkarılmış olan Mektup dergisinde inşa edilen kadın imajının nasıl bir çalışma ve çaba ile ortaya koyulduğunu tasvir etmeyi hedeflemiştir. Dönemin en etkili düşünce platformu olan dergiler; dönemin koşullarını, fikri düzlemdeki gelişimlerini, değişim ve dönüşümlerini izlemek için önemli bir kaynak olma özelliği taşımaktadır. Bu nedenle, İslamcılık düşüncesinin kadın konusundaki yaklaşımının tarihi seyrini anlayabilmek amacıyla aynı dönemde yayınlanan diğer İslamcı kadın dergilerine kıyasla, kadın yazar kadrosunun çoğunlukta olduğu Mektup dergisi seçilmiştir. Kadının Toplumdaki Yeri başta olmak üzere Eğitim, Çalışma Hayatı, Aile, Evlilik, Çocuk Terbiyesi, Tesettür, Başörtüsü Sorunu, Kadın-Erkek Eşitliği ve Feminizm üzerinden kadının konumlandırıldığı yerin neresi olduğu Mektup dergisi özelinde incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacına ve hedefine uygun olduğu için bu araştırmada dolaylı gözlem yöntemi olarak dokümantasyon incelemesi ve içerik analizi teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Aynı zamanda derginin taşıdığı misyonun sembol isimlerinden biri olan ve genel yayın yönetmenliği görevini yürüten Eşime Şenlikoğlu’yla da bir görüşme gerçekleştirilmiş; bu bağlamda dergi içeriklerindeki söylemin günümüze yansımaları irdelenerek yaşanan değişim ve dönüşüm tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.
his research aims to describe how the image of women, which was constructed in the journal Mektup by the leadership of Emine Şenlikoğlu between the years 1985-2010, was put forward with a study and effort. Journals, which are the most influential though tplatforms of theperiod; it is an important source for monitoring the conditions of the period, their intellectual developments, changes and transformations. For this reason, in order to understand the historical course of Islamist thought in its approach to women's issue, Mektup journal, which had a majority of women's writers compared to the other Islamist women's magazines of this period, was chosen. The place where women are positioned through Education, Working Life, Family, Marriage, Child Education, Hijab, Headscarf Problem, Equality of Womenand Men and Feminism, especially the Place of Women in the Society, has beenspecifically examined in the Mektup journal. Documentation review and content analysis techniques were used as indirect observation methods in this research as it was suitable for the purpose and target of the study. At the same time, a meeting was held with Emine Şenlikoğlu, who is one of the symbolic names of themission of the magazine and who is the chief editor; in this context, it has been tried to determine the change and transformation experienced by examining there flections of the discourse in the contents of the journal to thepresent.
