Abstract
“Millî Şair” olarak anılan Mehmet Emin Yurdakul, Türk Millî Edebiyat akımının önemli sanatçılarındandır. Servet-i Fünûn gibi taban tabana zıt olduğu bir edebiyat ekolünün en güçlü döneminde şiirlerini yayınlamaya başlayan şair, konularını milletinin sosyal ve siyasi hayatından alarak yazdığı manzumeleri ile millî şiir ahenginin öncülüğünü yapmıştır. 1897 Teselya Harbi münasebetiyle yazdığı “Cenge Giderken” adlı şiirinde “Ben bir Türk’üm dinim, cinsim uludur.” diyerek edebiyatımızda yeni bir çığır açan şair, kendi milliyetini de açık bir şekilde ilan etmiş, bu sayede Türk edebiyatı tarihinde önemli bir yere sahip olmuştur. Onun şiirlerinin ortak paydası halkın içinde bulunduğu karamsar ruh halinden, gerilikten, bilinçsizlikten kurtarmak, milletine kendi öz kimliğini, tarihini hatırlatarak güven duygusu ve ruh gücünü aşılamak, maddi ve manevi açılardan kalkınmasını sağlamaktır. Çalışmamızın konusu “Mehmet Emin Yurdakul’un Şiirlerinde Sosyal ve Siyasi Meseleler” olduğundan biz de bu ortak paydadan hareketle şairin şiirlerini “sosyal” ve “siyasi” olmak üzere iki bölüm altında toplayıp, detaylı incelemeye tabiî tuttuk. Siyasi meseleleri ele aldığımız bölümde devrin değişen siyasi olayları karşısında Mehmet Emin’in tutumu yazdığı şiirlerden hareketle ‘Abdülhamit Aleyhtarlığı’, ‘Kahramanlık ve Tarihe Dönüş’, ‘Savaşlar’, ‘Turancılık Akımı ve Mehmet Emin, İnkılap’ gibi alt başlıklar halinde irdelenmiştir. Halka ve halkın durumuna karşı bigâne kalmayan şairin duygu ve düşüncelerini aksettirdiği şiirleri sosyal meseleler bölümünde ‘Çalışmanın Önemi’, ‘İlim ve Eğitimin Önemi’, ‘İstanbul ve Anadolu Aykırılığı’, ‘Kadın ve Kız Çocuklarına Dair Dikkatler’, ‘Örnek İnsanlar’ başlıkları altında ele alınmıştır.
Mehmet Emin Yurdakul, who is known as National Poet, is an important artist of Turkish National Literature movement. The poet started publishing his poems in the strongest period of a literary school, which was the same as Servet-i Fünûn. The poet made the subject of national poetry with his poems written from the social and political life of the nation. The poet, who opened a new epoch in our literature by saying I am a Turk, I am a Turk, I am a religion and a breed in his poem Going to Cenge written on the occasion of 1897 Teselya Harbi, has clearly declared his own nationality and has an important place in the history of Turkish literature .The common motive of his poems is to save people from the pessimistic mood, backward from unconsciousness, to make their nation self-identity, to overcome the confidence and spirit power by reminding the history, to develop from the material and spiritual angles.Since the topic of our work is Social and Political Issues in Mehmet Emin Yurdakul's Poems, we have collected poetry poems under two sections as social and political with this joint payday. In the section where we deal with political issues, devrin has been examined in terms of subheadings such as 'Abdülhamit Opposition', 'Heroism and Tarihe Return', 'Wars', 'Turanism and Mehmet Emin, Revolution' in the light of the poems written by Mehmet Emin in the face of changing political events. The poems of the poet whose thoughts and reflections reflect the feelings and thoughts of the poet who are not big against the situation of the people and the people are under the headings of 'The Job of the Work', 'The Science and the Education', 'Istanbul and Anatolian Aykırılığı', 'Attention on Women and Girls' It is discussed.
