Osmanlı’nın Gürcü seferlerine ve bölge kalelerinin lojistiğine dair bir mühimmat defteri (1178-1243/ 1764-1828) (değerlendirme ve çeviri metin)

Abstract

Bu çalışma, 1765 ve 1766 Gürcistan seferlerinin asker, zahire ve mühimmat ihtiyaçlarının organizasyon ve planlama kayıtlarını temel alan ve takip eden yıllarda başta Gürcistan olmak üzere Çıldır, Erzurum ve Kars gibi bölgelere sevk edilen benzer ihtiyaçlara dair verilerin bir araya toplandığı Gürcistan Mühimmat Defteri’nin transkripsiyon ve incelemesine dairdir. Defterin tarih aralığı 1764-1828 yıllarını kapsadığı ve belirli bir bölgeye has olarak hazırlandığı için, kuyud-ı mühimmat defterlerinden ayrışır. Bu yönüyle kendine özgün bir niteliğe sahiptir. Defterin bu özellikleri itibarıyla tez başlığı, Osmanlı’nın Gürcü Seferlerine Ve Bölge Kalelerinin Lojistiğine Dair Bir Mühimmat Defteri (1178-1243/ 1764-1828) (Değerlendirme ve Çeviri Metin) olarak belirlenmiştir. Defter söz konusu seferler ve ihtiyaçlar için yapılan organizasyon ve planlama kayıtlarını ihtiva eder. Bu minvalde, defterde ana kayıtları tezkireler oluştururken etrafında ise söz konusu tezkirelere ilişkin şerhler yer almaktadır. Bu defterdeki kayıtları ve içerdiği bilgileri arşivdeki farklı kataloglarda bulmak mümkündür. Fakat arşivde farklı fonlara ve defterlere dağılmış vaziyetteki bu bilgiler, Gürcistan Mühimmat Defteri’inde bir arada yer almaktadır. Ayrıca böyle bir defter türü daha önce çalışılmadığı için bu tezin yayınlanmasıyla araştırmacıların istifadesine sunulacaktır. Yine XVIII. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında gerek Türk-Gürcü ilişkileri gerekse de ilgili coğrafyanın sosyal ve ekonomik tarihi alanlarındaki araştırmacıların kullanabileceği kaynaklardan biri olacaktır

This study concerns the transcription and examination of the Georgia Ammunition Register, which is based on the organizational and planning records of the soldier, provisions, and ammunition needs of the Georgian campaigns of 1765 and 1766, and which brings together data on similar needs dispatched in the following years, primarily to Georgia but also to regions such as Çıldır, Erzurum, and Kars. Since the register covers the years 1764–1828 and was prepared specifically for a certain region, it differs from the general kuyud-ı mühimmat (ammunition registers). In this respect, it has a unique character. For these reasons, the title of the thesis has been determined as: “An Ammunition Register on the Ottoman Campaigns to Georgia and the Logistics of Regional Fortresses (1178–1243 / 1764–1828) (Evaluation and Translated Text).” The register contains the organizational and planning records prepared for the aforementioned campaigns and needs. In this context, the main records in the register consist of tezkires (memoranda), around which are found annotations (şerhs) related to these tezkires. It is possible to find the records and information contained in this register in different catalogs in the archives. However, while these data are dispersed across various fonds and registers in the archives, they are brought together in the Georgia Ammunition Register. Moreover, since such a type of register has not previously been studied, with the publication of this thesis it will be made available to researchers. Likewise, it will be one of the sources that can be used by researchers working on both Turkish-Georgian relations in the second half of the eighteenth century and the social and economic history of the relevant geography.
