Gezi parkı eylemleri örneğinde sembolik şiddete ilişkin medyatik temsil

Abstract

Devlet, meşruluğunu çeşitli kaynaklarda bulur. Devletin meşruluğunu sağlamlaştıran en önemli unsur, fiili şiddet kullanım tekelini elinde bulundurmasıdır. Devletin fiili şiddet tekelini elinde bulundurmasını sağlayan araçlar; polis, ordu ve hapishanelerdir. Pierre Bourdieu tarafından literatüre kazandırılan Sembolik Şiddet kavramı ise, çok çeşitli biçimlerde uygulanabilecek olup, görünmeyen, görünmesi zor bir şiddet biçimi ifade etmektedir. Sembolik Şiddet; örtük, duygulara yönelik uygulanan, fark edilmesi zor; ancak etkili bir şiddet biçimidir. Bu yönüyle sembolik şiddet, devletin fiili şiddet tekeline alternatif olabilecek yapıdadır. Çalışmamızda, Gezi Parkı Eylemleri süresince, eylemciler tarafından, polisi sembolik şiddet kullanmaya davet eden davranışların açığa çıkarmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmayla ilgili literatür taraması yapıldıktan sonra, GENAR araştırma şirketinin gezi parkı eylemleri sırasında yürüttüğü anket çalışmasının verileri çalışmaya dahil edilmiş, Gezi Parkı Eylemleri ile ilgili görüş ve düşüncelere yer verilmiş ve internet ortamından edinilen sembolik şiddete ilişkin fotoğraflar ile çalışma desteklenmiştir. The state has its legitimacy from various sources. Government retains a monopoly on the use of actual violence, that is an important element to take its legitimacy. Police, army and prison are tools, that help government hold a monopoly on the use of actual violence. The concept of symbolic violence that was imparted to the literature by Pierre Bourdieu, can be applied in many different ways, that is invisible, hard to see. Symbolic violence is implicitly, applied for feeling and difficult to notice; but it is an effective form of violence. So, this aspect of symbolic violence can be an alternative to the monopoly of actual violence that government retails. During the Gezi Park Actions, the activists and their supporters invited the police not to use the actual violence, bu the symbolic violence. In this, study, it has been intended uncovering, analyzing and evaluating such actions, that have invited the police use the symbolic violence. After the literature study was completed, the data of the survey conducted by research company GENAR, during the Gezi Park Actions, have been included in the study. The opinions and the ideas about the Gezi Park Actions have been given here and this study has been supported by the photograps and the studies about the symbolic violence from the internet environment.
