Sınıf öğretmenliği öğretim programının nitelikli öğretmen yetiştirmedeki yeterliliğinin ilköğretim okulu yöneticileri ve müfettişleri tarafından değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, sınıf öğretmenliği öğretim programının nitelikli öğretmen yetiştirmedeki yeterliliğinin ilköğretim yöneticileri ve müfettişleri tarafından nasıl değerlendirildiğini belirlemek ve gerekli çözüm önerileri geliştirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada, sınıf öğretmenliği öğretim programının nitelikli öğretmen yetiştirmede ne kadar yeterli olduğuna dair ilköğretim okulu yöneticileri ve müfettişlerinin görüşleri ile öğretmen yetiştirme modelleri, öğretmen yeterlilikleri, eğitim fakülteleri öğretmen yetiştirme programlarının yeniden düzenlenmesi, sınıf öğretmenliği lisans konularındaki bilgiler sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma anketleri Edirne Belediyesi sınırları içindeki ilköğretim okullarından random usülü seçilmiş 42 tanesinde bulunan 107 ilköğretim okulu yöneticisi ve Edirne' de bulunan ilköğretim müfettişlerinin tamamı olan 20 müfettişe uygulanmıştır. Anketler toplam 127 kişiye uygulanmıştır. Her anket formu iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde kişisel bilgiler, ikinci bölümde ise bağımlı sorular yer almaktadır. Anket formunda toplam 38 soru bulunmaktadır. İlköğretim okulu yöneticileri ve müfettişlerinin, sınıf öğretmenlerinin nitelikli öğretmen davranışları gösterip göstermemelerine yönelik görüşleri arasındaki farklılıklar; cinsiyet, yaş, kıdem, medeni hal, mezun olunan kurum, görev, branş ve okul türü (idareciler için) değişkenlerine göre karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu çalışma yedi bölümden oluşmaktadır. Bunlar; giriş, ilgili literatür, yöntem, bulgular, sonuçlar, tartışmalar ve önerilerdir. Elde edilen verilerin istatistiki çözümlemelerinde p.05 düzeyinde anlamlı bulunan sonuçlar tablolarla gösterilmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Anlamlı bir farklılık göstermeyen gruplar araştırma dışı bırakılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, sınıf öğretmenlerinin nitelikli öğretmen davranışları bakımından eksiklikleri, olumsuz tutum ve davranışları ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu sonuç bizi, sınıf öğretmenlerinin nitelikli öğretmen davranışları bakımından eksikliklerinin, olumsuz tutum ve davranışlarının bulunduğu noktasına getirmiştir. Araştırmanın bazı önerileri şunlardır: Eğitim Fakültelerinde uygulamaya yönelik araştırma ve geliştirme faaliyetlerine yer verilmelidir. İlkokul 1.sınıftan itibaren öğrencilerin hem bedenen hem de ruhen gelişimlerini ölçen testlerle ve metodlarla her öğrenci için rehber öğretmenler eşliğinde dosyalar hazırlanıp öğrencinin gelişimleri izlenmeli bu konuda öğretmen adaylarına eğitim fakültelerinde rehberlik derslerinde bu metodların daha detaylı anlatılması gerekmektedir

This work has been prepared in order to determine how the efficiency of class teaching educational program in training qualified teachers is evaluated by primary school managers and supervisors, and to develop required solution suggestions. The opinions of primary school managers and supervisors regarding how efficient the class teaching educational program in training qualified teachers is, and the information concerning teacher training models, teacher efficiencies, reorganization of teacher training programs of faculties of education, bachelor degree program of class teaching are included in this work. Scanning model has been used in this work. The research questionnaires have been applied to 107 managers randomly selected from 42 primary schools existing in borders of Municipality of Edirne and- all of the 20 primary education supervisors existing in Edirne. The questionnaires have been applied to totally 127 persons. The differences between the opinions of primary school managers and supervisors regarding whether the class teachers present qualified behaviours or not has been compared in accordance with the variables such as sex, age, seniority, marital status, the organisation graduated from, duty, branch and school types (for the administrators). This work consists of seven chapters. These are introduction, Researches regarding the organisational frame, method, findings, results, arguments and suggestions. The results found significant at the level of p.05 for the statistical analyses of the data obtained have been indicated and evaluated with tables. The groups which do not present an expressive difference have been removed from the work. The lacks, negative attitudes and behaviours of the class teachers from the point of view of qualified teacher behaviours have come to light as a result of the work. This result has brought as to a conclusion that the class teachers have lacks, negative attitudes and behaviours from the point of view of qualified teacher behaviours. Some suggestions of this work are as follows: Research and development activities oriented towards application should be performed in Faculties of Education. Files should be prepared for each student with the accompaniment of guidance counsellors with the use of tests and methods which measure both physical and spiritual improvement of the students starting from the 1st grade of primary school, the improvement of the student should be monitored. These methods should be explained to the prospective teachers with more details during the guidance courses in faculties of education.
