Şizofreni tanılı bireylerde öznel iyileşme, umutsuzluk düzeyi ve içselleştirilmiş damgalama arasındaki ilişki

Abstract

ŞİZOFRENİ TANILI BİREYLERDE ÖZNEL İYİLEŞME, UMUTSUZLUK DÜZEYİ VE İÇSELLEŞTİRİLMİŞ DAMGALAMA ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ Öğrenci: Elif BİLGİN Danışman: Prof. Dr. Gül ÜNSAL Hemşirelik yatri Hemşireliği Bölümü Amaç: Bu çalışma şizofreni tanılı bireylerde içselleştirilmiş damgalanma, öznel iyileşme ve umutsuzluk düzeyi arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı olup, İstanbul’da bir ruh ve sinir hastalıkları hastanesine bağlı beş Toplum Ruh Sağlığı Merkezi’nde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Toplum Ruh Sağlığı Merkezleri’nde şizofreni tanısı ile takip edilen hastalar (N=1992), örneklemini ise araştırma kriterlerini karşılayan ve çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 246 birey oluşturmaktadır. Veriler Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Ruhsal Hastalıklarda İçselleştirilmiş Damgalama Ölçeği, Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçeği ve Öznel İyileşmeyi Değerlendirme Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Veriler tanımlayıcı istatistiksel analizler, ShapiroWilk-W testi, Mann Whitney U testi, Kruskal Wallis H testi ve Spearman Korelasyon analizi ile değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan bireylerin Ruhsal Hastalıklarda İçselleştirilmiş Damgalanma ve Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçeği toplam ölçek puanı arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişki (r= 0,49; p<0,01), Ruhsal Hastalıklarda İçselleştirilmiş Damgalanma ve Öznel İyileşmeyi Değerlendirme Ölçeği toplam ölçek puanı arasında negatif yönlü ve anlamlı (r=-034; p<0,01) ve Öznel İyileşmeyi Değerlendirme ve Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçeği toplam puanı arasında negatif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişki (r=-0,59; p<0,01) bulunmuştur. THE RELATİONSHİP BETWEEN SUBJECTİVE RECOVERY, LEVEL OF HOPELESSNESS AND INTERNALIZED STIGMATIZATION IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC SCHIZOPHRENIA Student: Elif BİLGİN Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Gül ÜNSAL Department: School of Nursing, Department of Psychiatry Nursing Aim: In this study, it was aimed to determine the relationship between subjective recovery, internalized stigma and hopelessness in individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia who regularly attend Community Mental Health Centers. Method: This study is descriptive and relatonal researcher. The research applied five Community Mental Health Center connected to the Mental and Nervous disease Education and Research Hospital in İstanbul.The universe of there search is based on companies of the center (N=1992), the sample of 246 individuals settled in the center, fulfilling the research criteria with in the universe and volunteering to participate in the research. Data were collected using the Descriptive Information Form, The Internalize Stigma of Mental Illness Scale, Beck Hopelessness Scale and Subjective Recovery Assessment Scale. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistical analyses, Shapiro Wilk-W test, Mann Whitney U Test and Kruskal Wallis test. Results: It was determined there was a statistically significant and moderate correlation in the positive direction between the ISMI scores and BHS scores (r=0,49; p<0,01), there was a statistically significant and weak correlation in the negative direction between ISMI scores and SRAS scores (r=-0,34; p<0,01) and there was a statistically significant and moderate correlation in the negative direction between BHS scores and SRAS score (r=-0,59;p<0,01). Conclusion: As the level of hopelessness and the level of internalized stigma increased, the level of subjective recovery decreased.
