Publication: Lise akran arabuluculuğu programının atılganlık becerileri, iletişim becerileri ve sosyal beceriler üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi
Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, lise akran arabuluculuğu programının atılganlık becerileri, iletişim becerileri ve sosyal beceriler üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemi Kayseri ilinde bir lisede eğitim gören 42 öğrenciden (21’i deney, 21’i kontrol) oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada, veri toplama aracı olarak deney ve kontrol gruplarına “Ergenlerde Atılganlık Ölçeği”, “Etkili İletişim Becerileri Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. Katılımcıların ebeveyn ve öğretmenlerine ise “Sosyal Beceri Ölçeği” ön test olarak uygulanmış ve katılımcıların bu becerileri değerlendirilmiştir. Deney grubuna 10 oturum akran arabuluculuk eğitimi verilmiştir. Arabuluculuk programının tamamlanmasından sonra hem deney hem de kontrol grubuna son test olarak “Ergenlerde Atılganlık Ölçeği”, “Etkili İletişim Becerileri Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. Katılımcıların ebeveyn ve öğretmenlerine de “Sosyal Beceri Ölçeği” tekrar uygulanarak katılımcıların bu becerileri yeniden değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak akran arabuluculuk programının Ergenlerde Atılganlık Becerilerini, İletişim Becerilerini ve Sosyal Becerileri artırmada başarılı olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The aim of this research is to examine the impact of a high school peer mediation program on assertiveness skills, communication skills, and social skills. The sample of the research consists of 42 students (21 in the experimental group, 21 in the control group) studying at a high school in Kayseri. The Adolescent Assertiveness Scale and the Effective Communication Skills Scale were applied to the determined experimental and control groups. The Social Skills Scale was applied as a pre-test to the parents and teachers of the participants to assess their skills. The experimental group received 10 sessions of peer mediation training. After the completion of the mediation program, both the experimental and control groups were administered the Adolescent Assertiveness Scale and the Effective Communication Skills Scale as a post-test. The Social Skills Scale was reapplied to the parents and teachers of the participants to reassess these skills. As a result, it was determined that the peer mediation program was successful in improving Assertiveness Skills, Communication Skills, and Social Skills in Adolescents.
