Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin mesleki doyumları ile çocuk sevgisi düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı; Nevşehir ili ve ilçelerinde görev yapan okul öncesiöğretmenlerinin mesleki doyum düzeyleri ile çocuk sevgisi düzeyleri arasındakiilişkinin incelenmesidir.Bu amaca yönelik olarak, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin mesleki doyum düzeyleriile çocuk sevgisi düzeyleri arasındaki ilişki cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, meslekideneyim, görev yapılan kurum türü, görev yeri, eğitim düzeyi, çocuk sahibi olmadurumu, sınıftaki çocuk sayısı, öğretmenin kaç yaş grubuyla çalıştığı ve mesleği seçmenedenleri bağımsız değişkenlerine göre araştırılmıştır.Bu araştırma, 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim döneminde, Aralık ve Ocak aylarında,Nevşehir ili, ilçeleri ve köylerinde ilkokul/ ortaokul müdürlüklerine bağlıanasınıflarında, kız meslek liselerine ve Yükseköğretim kurumlarına bağlı uygulamaanaokullarında, bağımsız anaokullarında, kreşlerde ve gündüz bakımevlerinde olmaküzere toplam 76 kurumda görev yapan 226 okul öncesi öğretmeni ile yapılmıştır.Veri toplama aracı olarak, “Mesleki Doyum Ölçeği”, “Barnett Çocuk SevmeÖlçeği” ve okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin demografik özelliklerini belirlemek amacıylaaraştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan kişisel “Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır.Araştırmanın sonucunda, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin mesleki doyum düzeyleriile çocuk sevme düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.Ayrıca okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin çeşitli değişkenler açısından mesleki doyumdüzeyleri ve çocuk sevme düzeyleri incelendiğinde, anlamlı farkların olduğu sonuçlaraulaşılmış; tablolar yorumlanmış ve tartışmalar yapılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilenbulgular ışığında uygulayıcılara ve araştırmacılara yönelik önerilere de yer verilmiştir.

The main aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the levels ofprofessional satisfaction and child love of the preschool teachers working in the province ofNevşehir and its districts.For this purpose, the relationship between the levels of professional satisfaction ofpreschool teachers and the levels of child love, gender, age, marital status, occupationalexperience, type of duty institution, place of duty, education level, the state of havingchildren, number of children in the classroom, what age group teacher works with and thereasons for choosing this occupation were investigated according to independent variables.This study was carried out in Nevşehir, its districts and villages in December andJanuary in 2018-2019 education terms with 226 preschool teachers who work in total 76institutions including kindergartens allied to the primary/ secondary school managements,application kindergartens allied to the higher education institutions and girls’ vocationalcollege, independent kindergartens, nursery schools and day care centers.“Professional Satisfaction Form”, “Barnett Child Love Form” and individual“Information Form” formed by the researcher to determine the demographic characteristicsof the preschool teachers were used as a means of data collection.At the end of this study, it became evident that there was a positive relationshipbetween preschool teachers’ professional satisfaction level and child love level. Besides,when it was investigated the level of professional satisfaction and child love in terms ofvarious variances, significant differences were come out; tables were interpreted anddiscussions were made. Within the light of the findings obtained from the research,suggestions to the researchers and implementers were also included.
