Abstract

Tarih tezlerinin/teorilerinin temelinde tarihin disiplin dışı amaçları bağlamında yüklenen misyonlar yer almaktadır. Bu bağlamda yer verilmiş olan tezlerde gelen hatlarıyla Batı merkezci tarihyazımı üzerinden ‘biz’ tanımlanmaya/açıklanmaya veya varlığı meşrulaştırmaya çalışılmıştır. Aynı zamanda biz’in tarihyazımında üzerinde yaşanılan coğrafyaya dair bir aidiyet oluşturmak ve mevcut hissiyatı muhafaza ederek geliştirme amacı güdülmüştür. Bu bağlamda bakıldığında Türk Tarih Tezi’nin ilk olması sebebiyle diğer tezler için bir mihenk taşı görevi görmüş olması kaçınılmazdır. Disiplinler arası bir muhtevaya sahip olan tez diğer tezler için de bir başlangıç sayılmaktadır.

Based on historical theses/theories, some missions are loaded in the context of nondisciplinary purposes of history. In the theses, given in this context, it has been tried to define/explain 'we' or to legitimize the existence through the Western-centric historiography. At the same time, the aim was to create a sense of belonging to the geography we lived on in the historiography and to develop it by preserving the existing feeling. In this context, the Turkish History Thesis has served as a touchstone for other theses in this region. Having interdisciplinary content, the thesis is regarded as a beginning for other theses.
