Büyük buhranla gelen teorik dönüşüm ve buhran döneminin Türk ekonomisine yansıması

Abstract

1929 yılında patlak veren ABD merkezli ekonomik kriz, iktisat teorisinde yeni bir dönemin başlamasına neden olmuştur. Keynes’in, mimarı olarak kabul edildiği bu yeni dönemin ardından ülkeler iktisat politikalarında köklü değişikliklere gitmişlerdir. Çalışmada, krizden önce hakim olan Klasik İktisat teorisinin varsayımları incelenmiş, buhranın tarihsel arka planını okumak adına süreç içindeki ekonomik ve politik gelişmelere değinilmiştir. Dönem içerisinde Türkiye ekonomisinin teorik yapısı, buhranın Türkiye’yi nasıl etkilediği ve buhrandan önceki Türkiye’deki egemen iktisadi yaklaşımın nasıl dönüştüğünü incelemek çalışmanın temel amacı olmuştur. US-based economic crisis that erupted in 1929 has led to the start of a new era of economic theory. Keynes is regarded as the architect of this new era and countries have made drastic changes in their economic policies after this period. Turkey’s statism has come into effect after this crisis. This study examines the assumptions of the theory of Classical Economics prevailing before the crisis, and analyzes the political developments within the process in order to read the historical background of the crisis. The main objective of this work is to analyze theoretical structure of Turkey's economy during the period, examine how the crisis has affected Turkey and explore how the dominant economic approach has been transformed after the crisis.
