İlköğretim 8. sınıf görsel sanatlar dersi programında yer alan “eser analizi” konusunun sanatsal öğretime katkısı nedir?

Abstract

İLKÖĞRETİM 8. SINIF GÖRSEL SANATLAR DERSİ PROGRAMINDA YER ALAN ESER ANALİZİ KONUSUNUN SANATSAL ÖĞRETİME KATKISI NEDİR? Araştırmada ilköğretim okulları 8.sınıf görsel sanatlar dersi müfredat programında yer alan''Eser Analizi'' konusunun sanat ögelerini öğretmeye nasıl bir katkısı olduğunu tespit etmektir. Bu tez çalışmasında geleneksel öğretimdeki, yöntem ve tekniklerin dışına çıkılarak bilişim teknolojilerinin verimi ve katkısının da ne olduğu tespiti amaçlanmıştır. Bu tekniklerle yapılan uygulama ve etkinliklerin görsel sanatlar eğitimcileri için bir örnek olabilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ön test- öğretim- son test modeline göre gerçekleştirilen araştırma Yalova İli Merkez Cumhuriyet İlköğretim Okulu'nda 8.sınıflarda 31 kişi üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Uygulamada 8.sınıf öğrencilerinden oluşan bir sınıfa başlangıçta durum tespiti testi uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışma için hazırlanan öğretim notları dağıtılmıştır. İki buçuk hafta temel resim ve kompozisyon ögeleri öğretimi yapılmıştır. İki buçuk hafta Van Gogh'un resimlerinden oluşan sunularla eser analizi öğretimi yapılmıştır. Öğretimden sonra son testle uygulanan yöntemin başarısı ölçülmüştür. Öğretimden önce ve sonrasında yapılan test sonuçları arasında anlamlı bir fark ortaya çıkmıştır. Öğretimden önce başarı %39 iken, öğretimden sonra yapılan ikinci testte %87 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Uygulama sonucunda bilişim teknolojileri ile desteklenen öğretimin geleneksel yönteme göre daha etkin ve kalıcı bir öğrenme ortaya koyduğu tespit edilmiş ve görsel sanatlar dersinde uygulanması önerilmiştir

WHAT IS THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE LESSON ''ANALYSIS OF WORKS OF ART'', WHICH IS IN THE PRIMARY SCHOOL 8th GRADE VISUAL ARTS CURRICULUM, TO ARTISTIC EDUCATION? The purpose of this paper is to determine the contribution of the Analysis of Works of Art lesson, which is in the primary school 8th grade visual arts curriculum, to the teaching of elements of art. This thesis aims to determine the efficiency and contributions of IT technologies in education, beyond the traditional methods and techniques. The appliance of these techniques are intended to act as an example for educators of visual arts. The research has been conducted on a pre-test – education – final test model on thirty one 8th grade students in Yalova Cumhuriyet Primary School. At the beginning of the practice a group of 8th grade students were given a due diligence test. Educational notes prepared for this study were handed out. The group was given basic art and composition tuition for two and a half weeks. The group was then given an analysis of works of art tuition, which consisted of presentations of Van Gogh's paintings, for two and a half weeks. At the end of the tuition, a final test was executed to assess the success of the applied method. A significant difference emerged between the results of the tests held before and after the tuition. The success rate before the tuition was 39% whereas after the tuition the success rate was measured at 87%. In the end, the practice determined that in comparison to traditional methods, tuition supported with IT technologies proved to bring about more effective and longer lasting learning, and is recommended that it be applied to visual arts lessons.
