Mesleki ve teknik kurumlarında görev yapan öğretmenlerde tükenmişliğin incelenmesi

Abstract

MESLEKİ ve TEKNİK EĞİTİM KURUMLARINDA GÖREV YAPAN ÖĞRETMENLERDE TÜKENMİŞLİĞİN İNCELENMESİ Bu çalışmanın amacı, İstanbul İli Şişli İlçe’sindeki endüstri meslek lisesi öğretmenlerinin cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, çocuğu olup olmaması, aylık gelir, hizmet süresi, mesleği sürdürme sebepleri, emeklilik istekleri, mesleki gelecek, hafta sonu tatilini isteği, eğitim sisteminden memnuniyet ve gelecekle ilgili görüşleri değişkenlerine göre tükenmişlik düzeylerinin bulunarak karşılaştırılmasıdır. Tanımlayıcı olan araştırma evreni, İstanbul ili Avrupa yakasındaki endüstri meslek liselerinde görev yapan öğretmenlerdir. Araştırma kapsamına Şişli ilçesindeki meslek liselerinde görev yapan 174 öğretmen katılmıştır. Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi formlarının öğretmenlere gözlem altında uygulanmasıyla toplanarak SPSS programında analiz edilmişi istatistiksel analizde t testi, tek yönlü varyans testi, tekrarlı ölçümlerde ise varyans analizi testi kullanılmıştır. Maslach tükenmişlik ölçeği yirmi iki maddeden oluşmaktadır. Bu ölçek Duygusal tükenmişlik (dokuz madde), duyarsızlaşma (beş madde), ve kişisel başarısızlık (sekiz madde) olmak üzere üç alt ölçekten oluşmaktadır. Duyarsızlaşma alt ölçeği puanları açısından, yaş, aylık gelirinin yeterliliği, hizmet süresi, mesleği sürdürme nedenleri, emeklilik isteği, eğitim sisteminden memnuniyet grupları arasında istatistiksel bir farklılık saptanmıştır. Kişisel Başarısızlık alt ölçeği puanları açısından mesleği sürdürme sebepleri, mesleki gelecek düşüncesi ve eğitim sisteminden memnuniyet grupları arasında istatistiksel bir farklılık saptanmıştırDuygusal tükenmişlik alt ölçeği puanları açısından hafta sonu tatilini iple çekme ve gelecekle ilgili düşünceler grupları arasında istatistiksel bir farklılık saptanmıştır. Bu sonuçlara göre tükenmişliğin azaltılması ve önlenmesi için önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

This study aims at determining and comparing the teachers' level of burnout in vocational schools in Şisli District, İstanbul in respect of the variables such as sex, age, marital status, having children or not, salary, service period, reasons for continuing the proffession, retirement demands, career prospects, weekend vacation demand, satisfaction at educational system and opinions about future. The decriptive environment is the group of teachers working at the vocational schools at the european side of Istanbul. 174 teachers at the vocational schools in Sisli district has participated in this study. The data was gathered through Maslach Burn-Out Scale and Personal Inquiry Forms applied under observation, and analysed using the SPSS software by the researcher. T-Test and one-way variance test were used for Statistical Analysis, and variance analysis test for repeated measurement. Maslach burn-out scale consists of twenty-two articles. Emotional burn-out (nine articles), indifference ( five articles), personal failure ( eight articles) are the three chapters that constitute the scale. As far as Indifference sub-scale points are considered a statistical diversity has been determined among the age, salary sufficiency, service period, reasons for continuing the proffession, demand for retirement, satisfaction at educational system groups. Regarding the Personal Failure sub-scale points a statistical diversity has been found among the reasons for continuing the proffession, ideas for job career and satisfaction at educational system groups.As for the Emotional burn-out sub-scale points a statistical diversity has been found among the looking forward for weekend vacation and considerations for future groups.
