Uçuş eğitmenlerinin eğitim performanslarının transaksiyonel analiz ego durumları açısından değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Öğretme - öğrenme sürecinde eğitimci ve öğrenci arasındaki iletişim, eğitimin amacı olan olumlu yönde davranış değişikliği geliştirmekte hayati bir önem taşımaktadır. Gerçekleşen iletişim gerek davranış ve tutumları gerekse öğrenmeye etki edeceğinden özellikle eğitim ortamında etkin bir iletişimin oluşturulması ve sürdürülmesi gerekmektedir. Öğrenci ile öğretmen arasındaki ilişki ve bu ilişkinin niteliği, eğitim sürecinin hemen her aşamasında öğretme-öğrenme etkinliğinin verimli olabilmesine temel oluşturmaktadır. İçinde bulunduğumuz dönemde eğitim, özellikle yetişkin düzeyindeki mesleki eğitim, interaktif bir süreç olarak ifade edilmektedir. İletişimin ve ikili ilişkilerin olumlu şekilde gerçekleşmemesi eğitimin etkinliğini de olumsuz yönde etkileyeceğinden öğretmen-öğrenci arasındaki iletişimin önemi daha da artmaktadır. Eğitim süreci ele alındığında, insan davranışının incelenerek, olumlu yönde değiştirilmesi ya da geliştirilmesinde en önemli faktörün öğretmen olduğu görülmektedir. Öğretmen ve öğrenci arasındaki iletişimi değerlendirmek üzere çeşitli araştırmalar yapılmıştır ve yapılmaktadır. Bu araştırmada, uçuş eğitiminde uçuş öğretmeni ve pilotaj eğitimi alan öğrenci iletişimine farklı bir açıdan bakmayı sağlayacak, bir kişilik ve iletişim kuramı olan Transaksiyonel Analiz Yaklaşımı model alınmıştır. Bu çalışmada, uçuş öğretmenlerinin eğitim performansları, transaksiyonel analiz ego durumları bakımından incelenerek, değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada Arı tarafından (1989) geliştirilen, geçerlik ve güvenirliği yapılmış “Ego Durumları Ölçeği” ile Yrd. Doç. Dr. Salim Atay destek ve yardımlarıyla geliştirilen 20 soruluk “Uçuş Eğitimi Öğrenci Performansı Değerlendirme Formu” kullanılmıştır. Sektörde eğitim hizmeti veren Türk Hava Yolları, Uçuş Eğitim Akademisi’nden toplam 18 öğretmen ve 64 öğrenciden edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde, verinin niteliğine uygun analiz yöntemleri tercih edilmiştir.In educational process, the relationship between the teacher and the student is very important in improving behavioral change as an aim of education. Since the relation will affect the behaviors, attitudes and learning we should have an affective communication especially in educational atmosphere. The relationship between the teacher and the student and the quality of the relationship is a base for the productivity of teaching and learning. Nowadays education; especially occupational education for adults is named as an interactive process. If the communication and the relationship between the people is negative this will also affect the productivity of the education. So the relationship between the teacher and the student becomes more important. In the process of education the most important point is the teacher in the changes and the development of human behaviors. Some researches are made in order to evaluate the relationship between the teacher and the student both now and in the past. In this research we have Transactional Analysis Approach as a model which provides us to look at the relation between the flight instructor and the trainee from a different perspective. In this research, the educational performans of the flight instructors are examined and evaluated according to their transactional analysis ego positions. In the research; “Ego States Scale” which is improved by ARI having validity and reliability and “Flight Training Trainee Evaluation Form” improved by the help of Salim ATAY (including 20 questions) are used as techniques. In aviation sector Turkish Airlines provides education in Flight Training Academy with data from 18 instructors and 64 trainee.
