İstanbul teravihlerinde ilahi okuma geleneği ve ramazan ilahileri

Abstract

Ramazan ayı, Kur’an-ı Kerim’in indirildiği Kadir Gecesi’ni, oruç, fitre, terâvih, îtikaf gibi kendine mahsus ibadetleri içinde bulundurması gibi özelliklerinden dolayı müslümanlar için çok büyük bir önem arzetmektedir. İstabul müslümanları bu ibadetlerden biri olan terâvih namazını kılarken sünnet-i seniyyeye uygun olarak dört rekâtta bir dinlenmişler, bu esnada çeşitli makamlarda ilâhîler icrâ etmişler, namaz kıldıran imam efendiler namazda sesli bir şekilde Kur’an-ı Kerim okurken bu makamları kullanmışlardır. Araştırmamızda İstanbul müslümanlarının sahip olduğu bu geleneğin tarihi seyrini ve uygulanma biçimlerini inceledik.

The month of ramadān is of great importance for Muslims because it includes the Night of Qadr, the night when the Qur'ān was revealed, as well as specific acts of worship such as fasting, fitrah, tarāwīh and i'tikaf. When the muslims of Istanbul performed the tarāwīh prayer, which is one of these prayers, they rested every four rak'ahs in accordance with the Sunnah, performed hymns in various makams, and the imams who led the prayers used these makams while reciting the Qur'ān aloud during the prayer. In our research, we examined the historical course of this tradition of the Muslims of Istanbul and the ways in which it was practiced.
