Ofislerde ergonomik faktörlerin iş sağlığı ve güvenliği bağlamında değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Ofisler ürün, bilgi ya da hizmet üretmek için tasarlanan insan, makine ve çevrenin etkileşiminden oluşan ortamlardır. Günümüzde hizmet sektörünün diğer sektörler arasındaki payı yükselmiş ve buna bağlı olarak ofislerde çalışanların sayısı da gözle görülür ölçüde artmıştır. Açık, kapalı ya da hibrit (melez) hangi büro türü olursa olsun ergonomi ve iş sağlığı ve güvenliği konusu her zaman dikkat edilmesi gereken bir konu olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Ofislerde kullanılan masa, koltuk, bilgisayar vb. tüm donanım ve aydınlatma, ısıtma ve soğutma, gürültü vb. ergonomik faktörler çalışanlar için iş kazası ve meslek hastalıkları riskleri oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı çalışanların ofis ortamında karşılaştığı ergonomik faktörlerinin iş sağlığı ve güvenliği ile olan ilişkisinin açıklanması ve bu bağlamda ortaya çıkan iş kazası ve meslek hastalıkları risklerinin ve sonuçlarının ortaya konulmasıdır. Konu ile ilgili literatür incelenerek hem işverenler hem de çalışanlar açısından konu açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Konunun kapsamı çok geniş olduğundan ergonomi ile ilişkili olan psikolojik faktörler bu çalışmadan çıkarılarak konu daraltılarak ele alınmıştır. Sonuç olarak hem işletme hem de çalışanlar tarafından alınacak bazı tedbirler ve düzenlemelerle ergonomiye bağlı iş kazası ve meslek hastalıklarının önüne geçilebileceğine yönelik değerlendirmeler ve çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur.

Offices are environments that consist of the interaction of people, machines and the environment designed to produce products, information or services. Today, the share of the service sector among other sectors has increased, and consequently, the number of employees in offices has increased significantly. Regardless of the open, closed or hybrid office type, the issue of ergonomics and occupational health and safety is always a subject to be considered. All equipment used in offices such as desks, chairs, computers, etc. and ergonomic factors such as lighting, heating and cooling, noise, etc. pose risks of occupational accidents and occupational diseases for employees. The aim of this study is to explain the relationship between ergonomic factors encountered by employees in the office environment and occupational health and safety and to reveal the risks and consequences of occupational accidents and occupational diseases in this context. The literature on the subject is reviewed and the issue is explained from the perspective of both employers and employees. Since the scope of the subject is very wide, the psychological factors related to ergonomics were excluded from this study and the subject was narrowed down. As a result, evaluations and solution proposals have been presented to prevent occupational accidents and occupational diseases related to ergonomics with some measures and regulations to be taken by both organizations and employees.
