Publication: Developing acoustic based cell analysis sensor
Abstract
Yatay kesme yüzey akustik dalga (SH-SAW) modunda,17 MHz Merkez frekanslı bir cihaz tasarlanmış, simüle edilmiş, farbrikasyonu gerçekleştirilmiş ve test edilmiştir. Sensör yapısı karşılıklı iki interdigital (IDT) elektrot, piezoelektrik ST Quartz üzerinde üretilmiş; bu iki IDT arasında da hücre kültürü olarak kullanılacak PDMS hazne yerleştirilmiştir. Gönderici IDT yapı tahrik edildiğinde elektrik enerjisini mekanik enerjiye çevirip yüzey akustik dalga oluşturmakta ve bu dalga yüzey boyunca ilerleyerek alıcı IDT’ye ulaşmaktadır. İki IDT arası bölge yük değişimlerine hassastır.
An SH-SAW device with 17 MHz center frequency has designed, simulated and fabricated. Sensor structure consist of two IDT-electrodes placed oppositely on a ST Quartz. Transmitter is excited by HF-sine signal to create SH-Waves on the ST Quartz. Receiver IDT converts these acoustic waves back to electrical signals. The received signal carries the information to measure small load changes on the surface that is between the transmitter and receiver IDTs. A reservour, as a cell culture, is placed between the sensor’s input and output terminals.
