Abstract
Günümüz çağı değişim çağı olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Bunun nedeni bilginin paylaşımının çok kolaylaşması ve ucuzlamasıdır. Artık herkes, neredeyse her istediği bilgiye, her an ulaşabilir ve kendi şartlarına göre uyarlayabilir duruma gelmiştir. Dolayısıyla rekabet ortamı inanılmaz boyutlarda hız ve değişim gerektirmektedir. Yaşanan gelişmeler özellikle henüz Türkiye şartlarında istenilen noktaya gelemeyen sigorta sektörünü de derinden etkilemektedir. Yabancı ortaklık anlaşmaları artmış sektör kabuk değişimine girmiştir. Bu noktada artan rekabet ortamında ayakta kalabilecek çözümlerin şirketler için vizyonel olarak belirlenmesi ve yeni hedeflere ulaşmak için değişimin yakalanması zorunluluk arz etmektedir. Bu çalışma kapsamında, model olarak alınan sigorta şirketi için de çağa uyum sağlamak, rekabette yükseklerde kalmak amacıyla verilmesi gerekli mücadele detayları irdelenmiştir. Öncelikle ilk bölümde sigorta tanım ve branşlar hakkında bilgi verilmiş ardından değişimin mihenk taşları -önemli kavramlar -hakkında detaylandırma yapılmıştır. Son bölümde de Bilgi Teknolojileri Fonksiyonları açısından değişiminin nasıl yaratıldığı ve işlerliğinin sağlandığı hakkında örneklendirme yapılmıştır.
Our age is called the “Era of change”. The reason of this naming is simply the fact that accessing to information has become drastically cheaper then ever. Today, anyone can access to virtually all kind of data at the very same time that it is desired and can adopt it to whatever conditions they have got. Consequently the competitive climate requires change and speed to happen in phenomenal measures. Advancements experienced recently, have been deeply affecting the insurance business sector in particular which had not reached at the desired level in the given circumstances of Turkey. A dramatic increase in acquisitions by the foreign capital have been encountered and the business has gone into the melting pot. At this point in time both, designation of the solutions which will be withstanding in the high competition climate for the companies visionarily and seizing the change in order to attain novitious destinations are of crucial importance for the companies Within the context of this dissertation, the struggle for being in the top in competition and keeping up with the times in the insurance company which has been the model is explicated. Primarily at the first chapter it is given information about the definition of the insurance and insurance branches then the milestones of the change –important concepts- has been detailed. At the last chapter it is sampled how the change has been created and how it is made functional, from the stand point of the Information Technologies Functions.
