Publication: Mobbingin örgütsel sessizlik üzerindeki etkisinde demografik değişkenlerin rolü
Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between mobbing and organizational silence and to determine the effect of demographic variables on mobbing and organizational silence. In the first literature study, the concepts of mobbing and organizational silence were discussed separately and then the studies related to their relationship were examined. The questionnaire prepared for the purpose of the study was applied to 228 white collar workers in various districts of Istanbul between 2017-2018. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed in a computer environment and evaluated in comparison with the results of the studies in the literature. As a result of the study,it was determined that there was a negative and meaningful relationship between the perceptions of organizational silence associated with the protection and acceptance approach of white collar workers and mobbing perceptions. There was a statistically unreasonable relationship between mobbing and the protectionist approach. Furthermore,it has been observed that the gender, educational level, marital and hierarchical status of white collar workers have no regulatory role between mobbing and organizational perceptions of silence.
