ŞİRKETLERİN KURUMSAL YÖNETİM PUANLARI ile FİNANSAL PERFORMANSLARI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ: BİST KURUMSAL YÖNETİM ENDEKSİ ÜZERİNE BİR UYGULAMA

Abstract

Bu çalışmada BİST (Borsa İstanbul) Kurumsal Yönetim Endeksi'nde bulunan ve finans sektörü dışında kalan 18 şirketin finansal performans sıralaması, TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. TOPSIS yöntemi, şirketlere ait 6 adet finansal orana dayalı olarak kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılan finansal oranlar seçilirken finansal performans ölçme yöntemlerinden biri olan DuPont analizi ve bu analizde yer alan oranlar dikkate alınmıştır. Aynı zamanda literatürdeki benzer çalışmalarda kullanılan oranlar da göz önünde bulundurulmuştur. Böylece 2013-2015 yıllarını kapsayan dönem için performans sıralamaları elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen finansal performans sıralamaları işletmelerin kurumsal yönetim puanları ile karşılaştırılmıştır.

In this study, ranking of financial performance of 18 companies that are present in BIST (Istanbul Stock Exchange) and out of financial sector is obtained by TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method. TOPSIS method is used on the basis of 6 financial ratios of the companies. While selecting financial ratios used in the survey, Dupont analysis, one of the methods to evaluate performance , and the ratios registered in this analysis is considered. Also, the ratıos used in similar surveys are taken into account. Thus, performance rankings are obtained for the period covering the years 2013-2015. Obtained performance rankings are compared with institution management scores of companies.
