Hastalık isimlerinde örtmece

Abstract

Örtmece, söylenmesinden rahatsızlık duyulan veya utanılan bir durumu uygunsuz, kaba, yakışıksız kelimelerle ifade etmek yerine, daha uygun kelimelerle ifade etmektir. Her toplumun duyarlı olduğu konular vardır. Bazı durumlarda bir konuyu doğrudan söylemek yerine daha yumuşak ve nazik kelimelerle ifade etmek gerekir. Bu yolla, kişiler, ölüm, hastalık doğum ve diğer sosyal problemler gibi durumlarda örtmece ifadeleri kullanmak suretiyle daha uygun ve nazik şekilde konuyu ifade ederler. Bu çalışmada, hastalık isimlerinde örtmece konusu ele alınacaktır. Ayrıca, çalışmanın sonunda sözlüklerden derlenen hastalık isimleri sözlüğü de yer almaktadır.Euphemism means that an inoffensive expression or a word is used in place of blunt, harsh, indecent one that is considered to be upsetting or embarrassing. In some situations, it is very necessary to look for another way of saying to replace the direct expressions. By this way, people always manage to express themselves with some euphemistic terms to show their dignity and respect to others in such field as death, illness, birth, and some social problems. In this study will be handled the euphemism in the names of illnesses. There is a dictionary of names of illnesses at the end of study.
