Sürdürülebilir kentleşme bağlamında sakin şehirler : Karadeniz Bölgesi örneği

Abstract

Kentlerde yaşayan insan sayısının ve kentleşme oranlarının büyük bir hızla artması ile birlikte yaşanabilirlik konusunda sorunlar ortaya çıkmıştır ve sakin şehirler gibi yeni yaklaşımlar ön plana çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, sürdürülebilir kentleşme kapsamında Karadeniz bölgesindeki sakin şehirleri araştırmaktır. Araştırma kapsamında Gerze, Göynük, Mudurnu, Perşembe ve Şavşat sakin şehirleri incelenmiştir. Türkiye'de sakin şehir hareketinin geçmişinin çok eski olmadığı, sakin şehirlerde kriterler konusunda sürdürülebilir planlara ihtiyaç olduğu yönünde sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada ayrıca kentlerin kimliğini koruma, yaşanabilirliği artırma, kültürel ve ekolojik değerleri koruma gibi hususların sürdürülebilir kentleşme ve sakin şehir etkileşimini oluşturduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

With the rapid increase in the number of people living in cities and the rate of urbanization, livability problems arose and new approaches such as cittaslow have come to the fore. The main aim of this study is to investigate the cittaslows in the Black Sea region within the scope of sustainable urbanization. In the studt Gerze, Göynük, Mudurnu, Perşembe, Şavşat cittaslows investigated. According to results; the history of cittaslow’s are required to act in Turkey is not very old and residents about sustainable cities by the plan. In the study, it was concluded that issues such as protecting the identity of cities, increasing livability, protecting cultural and ecological values constitute the interaction of sustainable urbanization and cittaslows.
