Publication: Türkiye ve Suriye'de toplumsal hareketler ve politik fırsat yapıları (1918-2018)
Abstract
Bu çalışmada, politik fırsat yapılarının Kürt mobilizasyonu üzerindeki etkileri incelenmektedir. Mobilizasyonun ortaya çıkışı ve evrimi, çekişmenin seviyesi ve eylem repertuarları bu incelemenin odak noktalarıdır. Çalışmanın örneklemi, Türkiye ve Suriye’deki milliyetçi Kürtlerin 1918-2018 yılları boyunca dahil oldukları isyan, protesto, legal siyaset ve kitlesel mobilizasyon gibi geniş bir çekişme yelpazesini kapsamaktadır. Araştırmada ulaşılan sonuçlar, politik çevresel faktörlerin (baskı, politik sistem, ittifak yapıları ve uluslararası/ bölgesel koşullar) Türkiye ve Suriye’deki Kürt mobilizasyonu üzerinde belirgin ve çok boyutlu etkileri olduğunu göstermektedir. Çalışmanın bulgularının, politik fırsat yapılarının batı-dışı toplumlardaki politik mobilizasyon üzerindeki etkilerinin anlaşılmasına katkıda bulunması beklenmektedir.
In this study, the effects of political opportunity structures on Kurdish mobilization are examined. The emergence and evolution of mobilization, the level of contention, and action repertoires are the focal points of this investigation. The sample of the study covers a wide range of contentions, including rebellions, protests, legal politics, and mass mobilization, involving nationalist Kurds in Turkey and Syria between the years 1918-2018. The findings of the research indicate that political environmental factors (such as repression, political system, alliance structures, and international/ regional conditions) have significant and multidimensional impacts on Kurdish mobilization in Turkey and Syria. It is anticipated that the study's findings will contribute to the understanding of the effects of political opportunity structures on political mobilization in non-Western societies.
