Publication: Profesyonel futbolcu piyasa değeri ve transfer ücreti arasındaki değişkenliği sağlayan etkenlerin değerlendirilmesi
Abstract
ÖZETGelişen futbol endüstrisi içerisinde çeşitli sektörler oluşmuş ve bunlar futbol ekonomisini geliştirmiştir. Futbol ekonomisindeki bu hareketlilik ile birlikte futbolcu transfer ücret maliyetleri neredeyse bir takım kurabilecek miktarlara gelmiştir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, profesyonel futbolcunun piyasa değeri ve futbolcu için ödenen transfer ücreti arasındaki değişkenliği sağlayan etkenleri incelemektir. Araştırmada, Türkiye Spor Toto Süper Ligindeki futbol kulüplerinde yer alan transferden sorumlu 6 yönetici ile nitel veri toplama yöntemlerinden olan “Yarı Yapılandırılmış Derinlemesine Görüşme” yapılmıştır. Görüşmeler incelendiğinde katılımcılar transfer ücretini etkileyen etkenlerden; temsilci-kulüp ilişkileri, yaşı, ulusal kimlik-yabancı kontenjanı, oynadığı lig ve uluslararası müsabakalar, karakter-kişilik özellikleri-takıma uyumu, bireysel sporcu hakları-ticari ve marka değeri, sözleşme süresi, sağlık durumu, futbolcunun performansı, kulübün ligdeki konumu- ve ekonomik gelir alt temaları hakkında görüş bildirmiştir. Kadro durumu, oynadığı pozisyon-mevki ve transfer sezonu-transfer penceresi alt teması ile ilgili herhangi bir görüş belirtmemişlerdir. Sonuç olarak futbolcu transfer ücreti bir tahmin işidir. Dolayısıyla bulgularda belirtilen etkenler alıcı ve satıcı kulüplerin arasındaki pazarlık sürecinde değerlendirilerek transfer ücreti belirlenmektedir. Katılımcıların görüşleri doğrultusunda ‘’sporcu temsilcisi’’ ana teması içerisinde; temsilci-kulüp ilişkileri, futbolcu nitelikleri ana teması içerisinde; yaşı, sözleşme süresi, oynadığı lig ve uluslararası müsabakaları, ‘’alıcı ve satıcı kulüp nitelikleri’’ ana teması içerisinde ise; ligdeki konumu ve ekonomik gelir etkenleri transfer ücretini belirlemede diğer etkenlere göre öne çıkmaktadır.
SUMMARYVarious sectors have developed within the developing football industry and these have developed the football economy. With this mobility in the football economy, the transfer fee costs of football players have almost reached the amount that can form a team. The aim of this research is to investigate the factors that provide the variability between the market value of the professional football player and the transfer fee paid to the football player. In the study, “Semi-Structured In-depth Interview’’, which is the qualitative data collection method, was done with 6 executives from Spor Toto Super League football clubs. When the interviews were examined, the participants were expressed the opinion about representative-club relations, age, national identity-foreign quota, league and international competitions, character-personality characteristics-team compliance, individual athlete rights-commercial, and brand value, contract duration, health status, footballer's performance, club's position in the league and economic income sub-themes. They did not comment about on the squad status, position-played position and transfer season-transfer window sub-theme. As a result, the transfer fee is guesswork. Therefore, the factors mentioned in the findings are evaluated during the bargaining process between the buyer and seller clubs and the transfer fee is determined. In line with the opinions of the participants, within the main theme of ‘’athlete representative’’: representative-club relations; within the main theme of footballer qualifications: age, contract duration, league and international competitions; within the main theme of ‘’buyer and seller club qualifications’’ its position in the league and economic income factors stand out compared to other factors in determining the transfer fee.
