İç mekan tasarımında duyusal ve duygusal etkileşimin incelenmesi

Abstract

İnsanın yaşamı boyunca anlarına, anılarına ve duygularına dokunan mekânla karşılıklı etkileşimi, mekânın kavranması için insanın, insanın kavranması içinse mekân kavramının sorgulanmasını gerektirmiştir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada hem insan varlığından bağımsız fiziksel mekân hem de insan deneyimi sonucu oluşmuş algılanan mekân kavramı araştırılmıştır. Bir iç mekânın fiziksel mekânla ilişkili olarak biçim, malzeme ve renk gibi ölçütlerinin duyumsanması, algılanan mekânla ilişkili olarak da mekânın insan duygularına etkisi mekân atmosferi kavramı üzerinden tanımlanmıştır. Algılama eylemi insanın kişisel özelliklerine, kültürel değerlerine ve geçmiş deneyimlerine bağlı olduğundan bir iç mekânın algılanması, temel tasarım kavramlarının yanında bellek ve kültür kavramlarıyla birlikte değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında mekân atmosferine ilişkin görüşleriyle öne çıkan tasarımcılara ait mekânlar incelenmiştir. Belirlenen üç mekânın biçim, malzeme ve renk ölçütleri üzerinden görsel olarak analiz edilmesi çalışmanın yöntemini oluşturmuştur. Görsel analizlerin karşılaştırılması sonucu ulaşılan kavramlar mekân atmosferiyle ilişkilendirilmiştir.

The mutual interaction of human beings with space, which touches their moments, memories and emotions throughout their lives, has necessitated the questioning of human beings in order to comprehend space and the concept of space in order to comprehend human beings. In this context, both the physical space independent of human existence and the concept of perceived space formed as a result of human experience were investigated in this study. The sensation of the criteria of an interior space such as form, material and color in relation to physical space and the effect of space on human emotions in relation to perceived space are defined through the concept of space atmosphere. Since the act of perception depends on people's personal characteristics, cultural values and past experiences, the perception of an interior space was evaluated together with the concepts of memory and culture as well as basic design concepts. Within the scope of the study, spaces belonging to designers who stand out with their views on the atmosphere of space were analyzed. The method of the study was to visually analyze the three spaces based on the criteria of form, material and color. The concepts reached as a result of the comparison of visual analyzes were associated with the atmosphere of space.
