Kuruluşundan itibaren Arap topraklarındaki genişlemesini sürdüren İsrail’in arkasına aldığı ABD desteğine dayanarak varlığını sağlamlaştırdığı Orta Doğu’da ilk yerleşimlerini komünizm etkisinde kurması yeni ülkenin belirgin tezatlığını oluşturmuştu.
