Sanat yapıtlarında abject konumunda ceset

Abstract

SANAT YAPITLARINDA ABJECT KONUMUNDA CESET Sanatta ölü bedeni, abject kavramı bağlamında inceleyen bu tez, abjectin temelini oluşturan tekinsiz ve formsuz kavramlarını Sigmund Freud ve Georges Bataille özelinde ele almaktadır. Abject, Julia Kristeva’nın “Korkunun Güçleri İğrençlik Üzerine Deneme” adlı kitabında kavramsallaştırılmıştır. Türkçede; iğrenç, istenmeyen, sefil, aşağılık anlamlarında karşılığını bulmaktadır. Bedenle ilgili olarak değerlendirildiğinde; dışkı, idrar, bedensel sıvılar, regl kanı vb. bedensel atıklar abjecttir. İstenmeyen ‘şey’leri beden her gün dışarı atarak benim olur. Beden bu atıkları atarak geçirdiği sürecin sonunda cesede dönüşür. Beden artık atan değil atılandır. Atılan şey olan ben, ceset, abjectin zirvesidir. Tekinsiz, kısaca bir zamanlar tanıdık olanın bastırılması ve bastırılan bu tanıdığın farklı ya da alışılmamış bir formda tezahür etmesidir. Bir şeyin formunun alışılmamış hali ya da o şeyin bizatihi formsuzluğu tekinsiz bir durumdur. Ceset, alışılmış formdaki insan bedeninin yıkıma uğraması, çürümesi ve formunu kaybetmesiyle tekinsiz bir şey haline gelmesidir. Bu çalışma, sanat yapıtlarında konu/ malzeme/ kavram olarak cesedin kullanımını, abjectin zirvesi konumunda ve tekinsizlik bağlamında değerlendirmekte ve bu araştırma sonucu üretilen çalışmalarla tamamlanmaktadır. CORPSE İN THE ABJECT POSİTİON İN ARTWORKS This thesis, which examines the dead body in art in the context of the concept of abject, deals with the uncanny and formless concepts that form the basis of the abject specifically for Sigmund Freud and Georges Bataille. Abject is conceptualized in Julia Kristeva's book Powers of Horror An Essay on Abjection In Turkish; it corresponds to the meanings of disgusting, unwanted, miserable, vile. Considering the body; feces, urine, bodily fluids, menstrual blood, etc. bodily waste is abject. The body becomes mine by throwing out the unwanted things every day. The body turns into a corpse at the end of the process it passes by throwing these wastes. The body doesn't throw out the unwanted things anymore, it's the thing that is thrown out anymore The corpse thrown out is the pinnacle of disgusting. The uncanny is, briefly, the suppression of the once familiar and the manifestation of this repressed acquaintance in a different or unconventional form. The unconventional state of the form of something or the formlessness of that thing itself is an uncanny situation. The corpse is the transformation into uncanny by deformity, destruction and decay of the human body in its usual form. This study evaluates the use of the body as the subject / material / concept in the artworks in the position of the summit of the abject and in the context of uncanny, and is completed with the studies produced as a result of this research.
